BobbyD Posted January 30, 2019 Share Posted January 30, 2019 Tomorrow will be interesting Cannot quite understand the logic of ostricising Johnson, Butterfield, Anya and Ledley, all of whom have done well for the club in the past. Is Bird really better than them ? Is this how you should treat people who have previously been lauded and voted MOM ? Isnt their cost already committed and been known for years ? Would quite like Johnson and Ledley in particular for the run in. Any away game against rough and tough opposition we tend to fall short at currently. Presumably its financial. Which suggests we have real FFP issues. An element of desperation in the air. Almost panic measures. Same thought applies to Pearce - has never let us down , although clearly not a ball playing centre half that Im sure Frank would prefer. But very strange to be bemoaning the lack of any cover one day before deadline day when we voluntarily let go the proven cover we did have a couple of weeks ago. All suggests a bit of lack of control at the club in my view. They appear to have been caught out by a true realisation of the numbers in the fairly recent past. Hence the panic.
