Talk about dream teams - these two could work together. Forget he dreadfully dull employment of Lampard, these two would have season tickets flying off the e-shelves! After the dour spell of Rowett, the flamboyance and pinache of Lambert and McCarthy is exactly what we’re crying out for. With McCarthy’s flexibility of utilising formations such as 4-4-2, 4-4-2 and of course, 4-4-2, combined with Lambert’s cheerful charisma in interviews, the appointment of Lampard and Morris wouldn’t just be backwards and dull - it would be nonsensical.
