agreed, it looks very much like a 2nd team doesn't it ?

Maybe not even that - Looks to me like a team of players the manager wants to prove themselves - Players like Matty James who could be key BUT was out on loan after an injury last year - Lawrence who was out on loan and had a great season - Maguire who's new

Could be first teamers - Could be backups - Could be sold

Substituted a little after half time with everyone else - only the keeper wasn't changed.

They'll have another game there this weekend Liverpool or Palace Asian Cup final.

I'm not judging, I'm just saying he didn't stand out. Nor did Vardy, but that doesn't mean we should sell him!

Indeed, but Leicester should be pushing for top 8 this season and taking a gamble putting Lawrence in the team is a big ask. Unless he really is that good? If not, he'll just be treading water in the stiffs. I can see him being loaned out again to the Championship and to someone better than Ipswich, which should put us in with a good shout.

ps. you can sell us Vardy if you want.

We loaned out Kapustka to Freiburg. He's a very promising young winger and it has been reported that they have an option to buy him at around £6 million which I think is way too low. Perhaps you could negotiate a similar deal? I think Derby would be a great fit for him but I also think we should give him a few more pre-season games before we look to loan/sell.

Arsenal's Jon Toral is on Derby County's radar and the Rams have contacted the Gunners about the 22-year-old attacking midfielder.

The Spaniard, who had a loan spell at Rangers last season, spent 2015-16 playing on loan under Rams boss Gary Rowett when he was manager at Birmingham City.

Toral made 38 appearances for Birmingham and scored eight goals.

Derby also remain interested in Leicester City forward Tom Lawrence.

He is currently with Leicester at the Asia Trophy in Hong Kong and started in their first match against West Bromwich Albion.

Lawrence was on loan at Ipswich Town last season.

Rowett has completed three signings so far this season - Curtis Davies, Andre Wisdom and Tom Huddlestone - but made inquiries about 10 players

So you only want to sell him or loan him if he doesn't look good.

i suppose that makes sense for you guys :pinch:

Hasn't he got only a year on his contract? If so I doubt he will be loaned out again, Leicester will be looking to sell.

It might be the case of seeing if they think he could come good in the future, then even if not quite ready yet giving him a new contract before sending him out on loan.
