needles
Good pedigree, can deliver a ball. I wouldn't mind. Upgrade on Weimann coming off the bench anyway.

whiteroseram
At least he can get a deadball past the 1st man, but at his age does he want a loan move to somewhere he's not guaranteed to start everyweek? I doubt it, even though he's worked with Mac before

Rammed79
Don't suppose he can play left back can he? If not do Middlesbrough have any they can lend us now they are our feeder club.
Millenniumram
Seriously I doubt there's anything in this but a passing interest as we're clearly in for a winger, although he has undoubted quality and I'd welcome him here

Animal is a Ram
Further to @needles: Middlesbrough's former England winger Stewart Downing will be allowed to leave the club on loan this month. But where will he go? The Northern Echo reports that Crystal Palace are leading the race to sign the 32-year-old who is keen to remain in the Premier League. The paper says Palace manager Sam Allardyce - who managed Downing at West Ham - is keen to push through a deal before the weekend. It also claims Championship club Newcastle have expressed an interest in Downing.
