Wonder if Chris Powell will go for a 3-5-2 formation, something he did often at Charlton and Huddersfield.

It'd certainly suit the playing staff more. My only worry would be who ever played (assuming it'd have to be Shackell or Pearce) as the LCB being exposed for pace when needed to cover the wing back.

I'll hold off before getting excited over a possible 4-3-3.

The teamsheet could easily reflect that, or we could end up with 4411 with Butterfield playing wide right and Ince as a number 10 behind Vydra.

Owen Bradley said "oh and it's 4-3-3" so that suggests he's heard it from the horses mouth.

Sounds promising, but if Ince is given licence to push right in he'll end up playing behind Vydra with Butterfield pushing wide right to fill in the gap - in other words 4411.

I'd like to see Ince play as a wide right forward, I feel he just runs into traffic the more he comes inside. Plus, leaving Christie exposed on the right isn't the best of ideas.
