Certain fans seem to demand answers but then do not believe what they are given, so they go with what they want to believe anyway. People looking for trouble where it doesn't exist. I only really made a point of it as I feel it is much like the work place these days, every thing you do has to be justified. No trust. Oh I agree 100%. There was no need for him to do this. Just thought it was a nice touch that's all and to me shows he's a decent chap.
Gypsy Ram
Just saw the highlights, out of interest which player refused to go over to the fans after the game had ended?

Animal is a Ram
Good enough for me. It's a shame he has to explain himself, but given what's happened over the last few days, it was wise. EDIT: Has since been deleted...
DerbyRevolution
why on earth would Powell say Pearson helped pick the team if he didn't? It would be a tad awkward if Powell got on the team bus and got a phone call from Pearson 'ay up Chris. You picked that team, why did you say we did it together yesterday?' 'Not sure Nige, just slipped out' fans want transparency then don't believe a word that comes out of the club.
