The play off dates have been released this week:

Sky Bet Championship – Match A
Leg 1: Friday 13th May (7.45pm)
Leg 2: Monday 16th May (7.45pm)

Sky Bet Championship – Match B
Leg 1: Saturday 14th May (12.30pm)
Leg 2: Tuesday 17th May (7.45pm)

I presume if we finish 5th as expected (Hull have a game in hand and have to play Bolton too..) we will be playing at home 12.30 on Saturday 14th May?

I'd argue that the worst scenario is to be the home side playing at 12.30 in the first match. The other three ties are night games under the lights, which makes for a much better atmosphere.

Atmosphere was pretty good in the day time play off game against Brighton.

that was a 4pm or 5pm kick off. A lot different to 12.30pm

Owen Bradley tweeted the other day they've been told finishing positions don't decide which teams will play the Friday or Saturday. It will come down to sky, travel and policing etc.

it always has dine. Like when Ipswich played Norwich. Id dare say us vs Wednesday would be a Friday because we are relatively local with easy transport links.

Can't see them putting middlesborugh/brighton v wednesday on a friday night. it'd be a nightmare for the fans. Then again saturday lunchtime wouldn't be much better

Saturday would be much better - they could get there and back on the train. Its easy driving to Bournemouth from Sheffield too its all motorway or dual carriageway.

I reckon we'll do Brighton and lose to QPR in the final!

That could mean Hull away on Friday night. It was a nightmare last time a lorry shed a load of windscreens on the M1. It took ages.
