LazloW
Oakwood? Oakwood was never Green Belt. Oakwood residents also don't have a say in Erewash and I doubt Erewash Councillors could care less about what Derby residents think. No votes in it. If you are talking about somewhere else then I apologise. Hell, I'm being a pedant, I'll apologise anyway. Sorry.
JaguarRam
Protecting green belt land seems a good reason. I think this should be tightened up. We live in a small island and we need to protect the countryside. That said, we have to many rich people with massive amounts of private land when the space for poorer people is at a premium. I am from the hippy side of the fence that thinks all private land is theft!
McRamFan
Is that the same Erewash council that was allegedly going to be getting incentives to push through a solar farm near Risley....

Lord_Ram
also these two tend to contradict "There is no requirement for additional parking" "Extra parking may not be enough and lead to parking on surrounding streets"
Animal is a Ram
All of those points made by 5 residences? Do they have nothing better to do? A lot of them show an amusing lack of understanding of the proposals..

In fairness, the indoor pitch building was to be covered in a translucent material which would allow the light out at night.

RadioactiveWaste
Find a new site where we can develop the full bells and whistles development. Arrange outline planning approval for an implausible amount of social housing to be built on the current site. Deport all the problem tenants to it.
