You think 100 people are going to pay £20-£30 for a match ticket to get a £2-30 cup of tea free

You know, with the 'free' publicity its created, yes I think that may well put an extra 100 on the gate.

Radio and Evening Telegraph have picked up on the story, social media and the club website all have stuff to write about the game, so people may well just think "Lets go to the game"

I think the point is to show the catering company how many people.want a hot drink, but don't because of the price. Drop it by 50p and double the sales. Plus how many extras they will sell on top of the free tea.

50p? It's been dropped by £2-30!

Hilarious. So the kids at the food and drink bars are expected to dispense 28,472 hot drinks in 15 minutes.  I looking forward to seeing this.

I'm already queuing.

Thanks very much for the link.

Maybe I'm biased, but he comes across very very well, decent bloke.

'Not if, when'....now that is making me smile!

I agree, and I'm glad he openly said that. Gives you so much confidence.
