-JW-
I know odds mean little but we're down to 5/1 to sign him, second favourites... That basically means he has signed. Looking forward to the 6am announcement on Monday morning.

Lord_Ram
We'll that means we're more likely to sign Scott Sinclair that Southampton to get mac, although that doesn't mean anything...
RabidSheep
Odds slashed further and we're now 2nd favourites. Still not convinced about this one bit.

YorkshireRam
I would love to have a player like Scott Sinclair come to Derby to be honest. He's prem quality which is what we need and coupled with Russell and Martin would make a formidable front 3. However: Wages are an issue. If he's on 40k a week, that's just too high. He'd probably have to take a wage cut. Also, attitude. If he thinks he's a big time Charlie then he could potentially ruin the spirit of the squad we have at the minute. Great talent and would be our marquee signing this summer. It would also definitely show the board's ambitions for the club.
Ambitious
No chance. Don't get your hopes up lads, it's just not going to happen.

Agreed, also doesn't help the guy who started his rumour stated the odd went from 50s to 5s when in fact then only went from 16s to 5s.
jezram
they were at 40/1 then went to 16/1 and now 5/1, he is a player that would be amazing, but does seem unlikely on wages etc, unless a loan.
Mills_DCFC
Alan Nixon just tweeted me this. @reluctantnicko: @SamMills93 Can't imagine he would go to Championship just yet ... will want Prem move.
Stedcfc
Just hope this happens so we get Helen Flanagan down the ipro! She could do a half time display!
jimbobram
It depends if he wants to play football or not. If he wants to play, he will have to get of his high horse and take a wage cut. for us it would have to be a big wage cut.
PistoldPete2
Sinclair went on loan to West Brom last season and made 6 appearances, he is a confidence player, I would be very surprised if it even was a full deal, but as a loan, there is a possibility there. Well George Thorne prefers us to West Brom so why shouldnt Scott Sinclair?
Boycie
The lads not played any football for long periods. Does he love the game or the lifestyle? Dropping wages and playing for us will be a good indication he's fed up with watching from the bench. Waiting for a prem club wouldn't be.
RLACML
Well George Thorne prefers us to West Brom so why shouldnt Scott Sinclair? Thorne was here on loan and got a taste of what we're all about. Sinclair could easily get a premier league team if he works hard. He would be mad to come here.
