Shaun barker isn't going to play again. Gutted but was almost inevitable after such a bad injury. A friend knows Andy garner and was told.

Interestingly garner let slip later on after a few beers that Clough and his back room staff have to make the play offs at least or it'll be the end of their time at derby.

If that was the case why would he bother with his rehabilitation?

Didn't he sign a new contract after his injury?

Barker will get a chance again.

Question is, will he be as mobile as he was? He wasn't exactly roadrunner to begin with. If the guy has the turning circle of a horse and cart plus it takes a taser to move him from a stationery position then he's not going to be playing at this level.

Big injuries on a player that age... It's gonna be tough

Barker is a top bloke but always was an average footballer.. He's barely been missed to be honest..

lets save time - a lot on here will disagree with Bris, Brs will disagree with them. Some stats about never finishing top 6 with any club and then things will calm down until someone mentions Barker being missed and an important part of the squad

Think I may have saved a few hours of people valubale posting time there
