ChaddesdenRam
Blackburn have an £8m striker, now that's ambition.... Or stupidity. They were all moaning about Jordan Rhodes not doing anything except score goals. Apparently they are saying if he did more running up front and pressurised the opposition defenders they wouldn't have to sit back as much and therefore concede less. Complete opposite of Sammon, he can't score at all but helps defensively with his pressure on the defenders. Still I know who I would have
Smyth_18
If they were serious about top 6 they'd do one of the following 2 options.. Get rid of Clough and bring in a better manager, or give Clough $10mill and hope he can motivate a side to promotion.. . $10 mil would buy you nothing in England. davenportram
But neither play in the Premier League wasn't the quote "ex premiership player" which means he's not currently in the premiership
davenportram
Just to clarify And also said that were looking to bring in a FORMER premier league player that's currently out of contract into the club . So we should be looking at players that are in the championship or below currently that are out of contract in the summer No point looking at current prem players

RodleyRam
http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/wmg-management-sfx-sports/details/berater_193.html David Seaman? There aren't enough pony tails in our side IMO
randombc
At least id he's an ex-premiership player out of contract he's likely to be an 'older' head, something we have missed at times this season. It's alright having youth, and pace, but sometimes you need that person, to pull everyone together to help see a game out. Savage was very good at it, but he was a piss poor footballer. DCFCfranco
Could be Danny murphy....
CornwallRam
Darren Bent or Michael Owen then - both former clients of Mr Rush's old firm :-)
gcdcfc28
Wouldn't grumble if it was Murphy or Davies. Both experienced, both good enough for this level and out of contract.
