Gritstone Tup reacted to Archied in Torquay v Derby (A) Matchday Thread
There’s a reason the fa cup was the most loved comp in English football ( until sky money)
these kind of results and games happen regularly,it’s what sprinkles the magic

Ah yes we had so many other options on the bench. There's a reason we are having to rely on youngsters who should be given time to develop properly rather than be shoved on today to perform miracles and that's a certain Mel Morris

A part from the obvious I thought we played better tonight. You could see the structure and what the manager is trying to do. Too many harem scarem games recently which lacked structure for my liking. I think we can go on a run but the lack of players is a worry!

The BBC seem to want to spend big £ on senior presenters some news presenters are on £400k, p.us the big names are on huge retainers for very little work. That’s where they need to make cuts! Starting with Lineker and co.

They are 5 unbeaten and off back-to-back draws with Plymouth & Sheff Weds, but of course we should just wipe the floor with them otherwise heads should roll... ?

I would bet my house on us lining up three at the back on Saturday at the start of the game. He only changed it tonight because of injuries.

I think that there is a complete over reaction to PW by supporters who think promotion is a must this season. The rest of us haven’t even contemplated promotion as a viable goal after the debacle last season. We’ve now got a manager with a successful track record who will most likely get us promoted within his contract, I do agree however that our most talented primarily older players aren’t going to be suited by Warneball but then again they aren’t the future of the club either!

It was a harem scared type of game and we were in it to the final whistle, against a team in second. No drama’s!

Well guys the score did not go our way today but I thought lads tried hard we created a few chances but just would not fall our way but warning signs were there all to see but saw a llttle lad looking sad I had to cheer him up put a smile on his face.
