So happy to see Bielik back in the squad. Going to be a massive boost all round for the run in.

    Ebiowei on the bench too!

I would have driven Wayne to alderley edge after the way we finished last season and kicked him out of the car without stopping . I am ashamed to say I never saw his integrity and loyalty . I the last person to make me feel proud of our club was young Nigel ( Clough not Pearson)       I hope that when Wayne moves on we promote from within

For me while Wayne has been incredible big shout also to Liam Rosenior. Love what the pair are doing for this club. When Rooney inevitably leaves eventually I sincerely hope that if Liam doesn’t go with him then he gets the chance. He wants to be a manager he’s got the football brain and this experience as assistant could make him, he also deserves it because his loyalty.

Important to mention this. People like to slag off Twitter but it’s been a huge factor in this sellout and has been a key driver of all the mobilisation efforts in recent weeks.

The man oozes dignity and class.
How my opinion of the man has changed over the past 12 months. He has always been a world-class footballer, but he is also a world-class human being.

Once again Wayne Rooney standing head and shoulders above the Admins, EFL, Mel, local MPs, etc.
A clear and concise update, in fact best one I’ve heard from anyone for a few days.
Just going to focus on Sundays game now, looking forward to attending along with my youngest son.

    Rooney:
"I've just come off the phone with them (administrators) five mins ago. Where we are at, there is no big update I can give you.
There will be no players leaving.
They have reassured me Tom Lawrence will not be going and that is pleasing because he is a player I want to keep.
Everton approached my agent and asked me to interview for the vacant job which I turned down. I have a job here I am doing, which is an important job to me and that means me getting the team ready for Sunday."

Yes - going when the reports emerged of him going into the dressing room it was obvious we'd got big problem.
The reappointment of McClaren after sacking him just confirmed the extent of it.
The sad thing is, having read Ryan Hill's Pride book, you come away with the impression that if Morris had just made money available to strengthen the sqaud and then left his managers to manage rather trying to involve himself in football-related issues, we'd have probably got the promotion to the Prem he clearly so desparately wanted.
Assuming the accounts of ex-players and coaches are accurate, Morris pretty much sabotaged his own chances of success.

Thank you, I quite honestly wasn't being an arse, I couldn't remember the content, or the context for that matter.
Memento is a film with Guy Pierce (Mike from Neighbours), about a man with very short term memory loss investigating the death of his wife, who tattoos information on his body because he can't remember it.
I believe it was Christopher Nolan's first feature film, and is well worth a watch if you've never seen it, it's quite brilliant.
I may post this again in 20 minutes, so forgive me in advance.

    Not saying I disagree!
I'm as frustrated with the spurious claims as anyone.
Just repeating what was said...and considering how his relationships with Keogh, Rush, Rooney, Clement, Pearson etc seem to have developed there is some evidence he can sour formally positive relationships to the point it gets pretty unpleasant.

    Hi all
Been following this forum for years but only recently started posting.
Fantastic effort by everyone to be in a position where we might sell out on Sunday, great to see lots of folks bringing children for first time and even supporters of other clubs
With no PL games this weekend then we are the only show in town and we will get massive coverage ..that’s great...however as a fan base we need to keep going. We have three home  games in Feb however only The Peterborough one  is on a Saturday .
Although clearly ticket sales for Hull and Millwall important I believe Peterborough is a really good opportunity for us to get another bumper crowd in what hopefully is a key game for us , it also is 12 days before the next deadline..hopefully thinks will be moving positively by then , but if still bumpy another opportunity to ramp things up with media etc and bring vital income into the club.

I am following the @RadioactiveWaste approach and have so far run and walked  140miles in Jan (set myself 150 target).
Cant do the same right through Feb though, I’m bloody knackered. Weather should soon be getting better soon… ?☀️

Glad you are feeling better Bob. It must have been horrible over the last 5 weeks with both the EFL and your catheter taking the piss.

Don't know that I am dealing with it at all really. I swing between anger and frustration to helplessness that I can't really do anything and sometimes to just feeling a bit numb and not really interested in or focussed on much at all. That's not really me, I'm generally a bit of a 'heart on sleeve' type normally.
Sometimes I just walk away from the noise of all this for a bit and sometimes that helps, sometimes it doesn't. The constant delays and setbacks and broken deadlines are a bit toxic to morale.

Apart from my significant other's repeated plees for me to "just stop doomscrolling" and "it's not helping" and "you're being a right arse" (all true, I have been a right arse lately).
I'd suggest getting regular exercise, being kind to people, remembering that as much as this hurts, we will get through this.
I also have a dog and my furry friend never fails to take my mind off the situation (whether it's being adorable or because he's doing my nut in...)
And just to say, I'll happily take DM off anyone.

In the week leading up to Christmas, I was admitted to A and E with sepsis and water retention, spent 5 days there, and then had to put up with a very unpleasant catheter for 5 weeks before having it removed earlier this week.

So, my mood has been swinging around a bit more than usual. I’ve imagined how I might fit a catheter into various people connected with Middlesbrough and Wycombe. That eases the tension for a while?
I can’t expect anyone else to appreciate that line of thinking but I’m sure they will have their own release.
if there’s any justice in the world, we will survive this nightmare. Stay strong everyone and keep up the pressure!!

Maybe two more positive things Derby related to get involved in
i think the Twitter town council thing has been really good, lots of positive stories and discussion.

Then also, Radio Derby are doing their black & white day tomorrow, encouraging everybody around the county to wear black & white. Little things but it might be a good thing to start the weekend and get ready for Sunday

I'm moving house, so that's kind of exciting and is providing a good distraction.
That being said, fellow Rams, if you are feeling distressed, anxious or need mental health advice, there is a helpline set up specifically by Derbyshire NHS Foundation Trust for residents of the county. If you're registered at a Derbyshire GP, you can call 0800 028 0077 24/7. They may be able to help provide some positive advice on how to distract yourself and move forward.
I also work for a local mental health service (in a non-clinical role) which offers scheduled therapy. Our waiting times are wacky at the moment so don't expect to be seen right away however it may help to talk. Services you can self-refer to in Derbyshire are as follows:
    Trent PTS - https://www.trentpts.co.uk/
    Vita Minds - https://www.vitahealthgroup.co.uk/nhs-services/nhs-mental-health/Derby-and-derbyshire/
    Insight Healthcare - https://www.insighthealthcare.org/
    Talking Mental Health - http://www.derbyshirehealthcareft.nhs.uk/tmhd-refer
Of course, hopefully all this will be resolved positively in the coming weeks and all of what I've just typed will become unnecessary but it's here for anybody who might need it.
Obviously, if you're experiencing really dark moments and believe yourself to be at risk of self-harm, please call 111 or go to A&E.
Look after yourselves boys and girls, brighter days will come.
