Sorry. I know your heart is in the right place, it's just a ridiculous theory and a complete none starter. Not sure how you even thought this would even be possible.

You have more chance of playing in goal for us tomorrow B4 than the EFL transferring players back to us.

Your theory is also based on money owed to us when we have no idea that's even the case, makes no sense to jump to that conclusion.

At least in goal B4 could stand up all game. It’s worth considering ?

Having just watched today's highlights, I take it that will get me some sort of priority for a ticket  for the much more attractive tie v West Ham, now that it looks like I can be arsed for that one... erm... I mean, now that I should be able to attend that one, unlike today, as I was...  erm... at a wedding... yes, that's it... at a wedding... oh... my own wedding... the wife booked it before the 3rd round draw... I tried to cancel... honest, like!

    ?

Well I’ve watched the highlights twice  now (and I once thought about going to an away game) so that should be my 6 x Wembley tickets sorted ?

  3. From a purely selfish point of view: I wasn’t going and I have Sky so I can now watch the game. ?

But I agree, no consideration is given to the fans in terms of their financial position and the travel logistics. It’s abysmal.

I’d rather hoped that being in the 3rd division we’d left this all behind.

After having a bit of time to digest yesterday I'm hoping we can turn this into a positive.

If we had hung on to win that yesterday it would have papered over several cracks. Sometimes you need something like this as a huge wake up call and kind of a shock to the system.

Obviously I hate losing and I hate to see us get beat, even more so after losing a two goal lead. But my overriding emotions yesterday and today was this team fully deserved what they got yesterday and hopefully it's opened Rosenior's eyes to some things that have been showing since game one imo but not so glaringly as yesterday.

Bird and Hourihane together doesn't work for me. Both left footed so the balance isn't right. I'd rather Bird play CDM on his own with Hourihane and someone else ahead of him in a 2. Bird is a class player and should be showing so much more than what he is at the minute. I'd like to see him come out the team for Smith and see what Smith can offer there.

I said at the start of the season that Thompson is not good enough yet. Too small, lightweight. Got bullied yesterday and his first thought is always to go backwards. Any attacking impetus we had yesterday went when he came on. I didn't understand it at the time, even more so after.

Oduroh at the very least has to make the bench. To give us the option to move Knight into midfield. Because we were crying out for him there yesterday. I'd be very tempted to chuck Oduroh in against Morecambe and play a midfield of Smith, Hourihane and Knight.

Hopefully Davies is back for Saturday we need him back in.

Days like yesterday were always gonna happen. Cannot afford to give teams that much space in midfield they were running through us.

It was coming though. Arguably the best we have played this season has been the first half at Charlton and possibly the same with Barnsley at home. But Peterborough we were poor and that win papered over cracks.

Like I say hopefully Rosenior has learnt a lot from yesterday because it's glaringly obvious to most.

Whilst I am fully behind Rosenior and really hope he gets the job full time and takes us up. I can see why he hasn't been given it full time yet. Because in my opinion we haven't been playing well in the main.

Max Bird’s good game ratio is similar to Tom Lawrence’s at the moment. Not consistent enough this season.

Thompson would maybe benefit from a loan move.

    CH is underwhelming at present.

But I’m confident it will all come good - I’d have taken 9th after 7 games before the season started.

I get sometimes people need to leave early but what is so annoying is that they dont ever go quickly they move in slow motion along the row blocking others' view for as long as possible

And then they stop in the aisle, or by the stairs, if Derby go on the attack. ?

    if you’ve decided to go………JUST GO !!!

I do but the ref was total degrace today he let Plymouth do a lot of fouling on our players did bugger all about it.

We are going too see worse refs than this one I’m afraid.
But he wasn’t the reason we lost.

Had a good view of Birds challenge at the match and thought it was a red. Seen the replays and still think it’s a red. I really don’t see how anyone can suggest otherwise. Shame for him as he is not at all a dirty player but the ref called it right.

In a weird way it helped us as they stopped timewasting and had a bit of a go.

We deserved to win as we were the better team (apart from the first 15 or so)

I was right behind it and it was definitely a clear red.
if that challenge had been on a Derby player I would be livid if a red wasn’t given.
even the most blinkered of Derby fans can’t argue with that one I’m afraid.

  8. Last night was indeed hugely disappointing and another missed opportunity. And it’s all been said really.

Once we were hit with the points deductions I feared the worst and just hoped that we didn’t throw in the towel but put up a respectable fight for the rest of the season.
We have done so much more than that and my expectations have been blown out of the water.

Despite everything I have loved this season and the fight and togetherness that we’ve seen has been fantastic and at times, emotional.

I know that mathematically we aren’t yet down and we will continue to battle on. But this squad can be proud of themselves whatever the outcome.

Kudos to all those fans that have traveled away regularly and given their full support to the team.

Survival as a Club is the number one priority. League 1 might be fun.

Anyone wetting the bed if Rooney goes to Everton needs to give their head a wobble. If my employer was in administration with an uncertain future and someone offered me a more lucrative and secure opportunity I'd certainly be taking it, and I suspect almost everyone on this forum would in the same position. Why should I hold Rooney to a higher standard than I hold myself?

    ? this. 100%

Everyone hopes there’s that one higher bid with a second to go when you’re selling on eBay.

    True that.

And at that stage you don’t care which Tom, Dick or Ashley has put the final bid in.
You just have that nervous stage where you are waiting for payment to go through, so you start checking out the buyers recent feedback. ?

Agreed. Last thing we need is injuries to key players. Perfect opportunity to give fringe players a game (Sibley) those needing fitness (Shinnie) and further blood a few more youngsters.(Cashin).

Whilst we still have a chance we need to play every card carefully, rest the older players and not overwork the youngsters who have been amazing.

Hopefully agaisnt Reading we can play the same team again, safe in the knowledge they get a rest after. Come quickly out the blocks against a rusty Reading, knowing our subs are in the groove too. Big game.

    Agree.
Go full strength against Reading and give the fringe players the opportunity against Coventry.
If ever there was a season where we don’t want/need a cup run then this is the one.
Any FA cup income wouldn’t even scratch the surface anyway.

Just saying you cant let fear win of it but I have under lieing health conditions but I wont let it win.

What a ridiculous statement to make.

    Everyone’s situation is different.

3 of us in our house have COVID and are self isolating. Our Christmas Day has been totally scuppered and the dinner with elderly parents postponed til next week.
So myself and my son won’t be going to the WBA match as we want this meal to happen and don’t want to risk catching it nor passing it on.

I like Derby but I love my family more.

if that is letting fear win, then fear can take these 3 points.

Jason Knight showed today why hes destined to play in the Premier League , a great , all action , non stop running display , simply first class , hope we can keep hold of him till the end of the season

    100% agree.
Jason Knight has a terrific engine and attitude. Great player.

Will be sorry to lose him if he goes but he is certainly better than League 1 and deserves a crack at playing at a higher level.
