MrPlinkett reacted to i-Ram in Derby County Administration (with the slight possibility of Liquidation still there)
HMRC are responsible for:
Income Tax, Corporation Tax, Capital Gains Tax, Inheritance Tax, Insurance Premium Tax, Stamp, Land and Petroleum Revenue Taxes
Environmental taxes
climate change and aggregates levy and landfill tax
Value Added Tax (VAT), including import VAT
Customs duty
Excise duties
National Insurance
Tax Credits
Child Benefit
Please don’t put this on Twitter, but my understanding is that we still owe duty on the importation of Albentosa, Camara and Jozwiak, and are massively in arrears on child benefit payments for Knight, Sibley, Buchanan and Bird. The biggest debt to HMRC though falls under the Climate Change Levy where Mel Morris has incurred the club significant fees for the over production of worthless hot air.

MrPlinkett reacted to Rev in F1 2021
I've never understood why British F1 drivers get shade for living in Monaco?
If my job entailed me living out of a suitcase for 40+ weeks a year, and being paid a fortune for doing so, damn sure I'm going to base myself in a sun drenched enclave a couple of hours from Blighty with a low tax rate.

MrPlinkett got a reaction from i-Ram in El DerbyCo
This is what worries me. We were always told that Derby would be sold 'ONLY' if it was in the best interests of the club, surely that requires a substantial level of due diligence. Or is it now a case of 'anyone will do'.
I just cant see a sale would have fell through 3 times if proper due diligence had been done on the prospective buyers to ensure they were the best fit for us.
It really concerns me who we could end up with, its almost like we have just been put up for sale on eBay.

Yes I do remember when Mel actually used to give interviews, he definitely stated that we were to be sold only if it's to someone who was 'safe hands' and could take the club forwards.
He also mocked some of the many chancers that had shown interest - how ironic !!

MrPlinkett got a reaction from ck- in EFL appeal
I can't imagine the EFL organising a conker fight to be fair

MrPlinkett got a reaction from G STAR RAM in EFL appeal
good point, I'll start.
They are a marginally better organisation than ISIS and the Taliban.

MrPlinkett got a reaction from BaaLocks in Women or Men* off the tv you fancied as a kid.
yes to both...
Joanne Whalley in willow and scandal
Phoebe cates in gremlins and lace
I love the underrated film with bill Murray with Joanne Walley called the man who knew too little

At the risk of being controversial, you could argue that organisation of those might be more competant and effective than the EFL - which is not to comment on what the organisations are trying to do.
Can you imagin the EFL waging asymetic war and a terror campaign against the US military for very long?

Ally Sheedy. Despite me being a computer nerd at the time (well still am) I was more interested in her than the tech in 'Wargames'.

I know it's been a bit 'more bad news' this week so maybe a couple more memories to lighten the soul
Joanne Whalley and Phoebe Cates anyone? Yes, I did have a 'type'.

MrPlinkett reacted to Andicis in Pets
So my parents left the gate open in case she managed to find her way home, and this morning when they went downstairs she was asleep on the garden. No idea where she was or how she got back, she happy that she did!

MrPlinkett reacted to Sean in Jordon Ibe
Quite a frank and open interview here with Jordon Ibe, mental health discussions start around the 20 minute mark.
Hope he's getting the support he needs and that he can continue to work his way towards the team for next season.

The rules were only ever introduced to stop someone else doing a Man City and gatecrashing the top table. Any talk of keeping football sustainable was absolute hogwash.

Poses the question, if so many clubs are having to be creative, does it mean the rules aren't fit for purpose
