I’m now stressing about tickets for Hull, no mention about when they will be on sale and we will be travelling to Peterborough on Saturday and then to Great Yarmouth for a couple of days and then straight up to Hull . If the away tickets are only being posted out that means I need to receive the ticket by Friday. If they were available to collect from the ticket office I would just go and pick up from there. Hotel already booked in Hull.

I remember one of them reaching over the hoardings to to throw the ball back to the Huddersfield goalie who was in no particular hurry to get on with the game

I see the under 23s have a friendly against Middlesbrough today, we still have no goalkeepers signed , Allsop will probably play against Salford , I’m wondering if they will ask Marshall to play as an overage player which would definitely tell him where he stands
-
Well I gave my full support from my normal seat in the east stand but my son and grandson are on holiday and loads of the regular season ticket holder’s around me were missing today.

That's what he's been telling Colleen anyway?
Or maybe she told him that’s where he’s sleeping.

I’d like us to sign Harry Kane in time for us to play the red dogs but I don’t think that’s going to happen so I will just try to encourage the ones in the job as it stands.

I am seriously concerned that he hasn't grasped quite what a state we are in....there's optimism and there is blind belief.
So what did you want him to say, the players are crap I’m a useless manager and we might as well admit that we are already relegated.

In my case it's because I feel excited, happy, anxious and very apprehensive all at the same time. I guess a lot of fans feel the same way. I am looking forward to the first game of the season but not looking forward to it at the same time. So much joy that fans are back in the stadium supporting our team and yet anxious about our prospects. Mixed emotions! Do you feel the same? ?
Yes that’s the the thing about looking forward, you always hope for the best outcome.

A pro Rooney chant wouldn't go amiss tomorrow. I think he feels everyone is against him, including the fans.
It would be nice to see a smile on his face if fan support included him.
I have been to all the pre season games and I think he has received lots of support at the actual games unlike a lot on here.

Consumers - By your definition just there
Does paying a subscription to Netflix make you an owner of Netflix? Does buying a cinema ticket mean you own the cinema or the movie? Does buying an apple is Tesco give you rights to choose the way they run?
No
Being a fan or supporter is about more than just buying a ticket, I wouldn’t drive half way across the country on a wet Tuesday night in February to go to Tesco express .

No matter our viewpoint, no matter how disappointed in Morris & Pearce, we hopefully will all show tomorrow what fantastic fans this club has got. As Rooney says, and he's almost begging, the players absolutely need us behind them. So, heads up, shoulders back....COYR
Not good at standing for long cos my knees are shot but I’ll definitely be there

I'm not a supporter - I'm a fan - I look forward on pretty much every game with a rising sense of dread
Might as well be a Man City fan then

If your a supporter why would you not look forward to the first game of the season

I meant the crowd size! ?
I know I was correcting the rest of the post, probably highlighted the wrong bit, you don’t forget games like that, what would we give for a 7-0 win now.

I have a lot of sympathy for Wayne, he will have to sit there and answer questions about things not in his control.
I think on Saturday we should show him out apparition

Not quite bang on, we signed Gregory in November and he was sat in the stand when we beat Lincoln 7-0, he made his debut in the next game against Bolton, seems like yesterday.

Thats harsh mate I go to every game home and away unless i have something else on.
A true fan makes sure they haven’t got anything else on, ie send out fixture list to all your friends and relatives so they organise weddings etc during the off season or international breaks?

I probably won’t feature at the top of the table as I cannot bring myself to predict anything but a Derby win.
