How inconsiderate of her. Doesn't she know that the Rams need everyone behind them?

Great interview with Ebou Adams talking about Derby County, his faith, Ramadan. Four o'clock was his last meal. No food or water since. Wonderful attitude and discipline. Fully deserves MOTM.

This is quite unbelievable really. We’re a cat 1 academy in League 1. Our youngsters compete against the likes of City, Arsenal etc and yet we can’t give minutes in League 1.

I’ve mentally written this season off in terms of academy debuts. Partly because of the immense pressure to get promoted but also because of the fact the club made a lot of comments about needing 18 months/ 2 years to rebuild.

I really like Warne but it’s been my biggest gripe. I loved watching the academy prospects progress during the Rooney and Rosenior years (albeit more because of the other horrific things happening at the club).
I have to say, it will be a much bigger gripe if we do go up and aren’t using the academy. There will be much less pressure as finishing 15th will probably represent a good season on our return to the Championship. Therefore, you would like to think there will be more opportunities for the kids pressure-free.

Great question, and in all honesty I don't think I would.
I'm in my early 60's and like most fans I grew up dreaming of seeing my team lift the FA Cup at Wembley.
May 17th 2008 will be forever etched in my memory, and to see the joy on my sons face was priceless.
Now had we gone bust and ceased to exist, then I wouldn't have wanted the cup win to happen

That's just reminded me of a nice little titbit connecting these two clubs...
Pompey win FA Cup in '39... then retain it for the longest uninterrupted period (7 years), due to the war years, before handing it over in '46... to us!  🏆

Interesting to hear the pompey fans experience of poor owners and how hard it is to get out of the lower leagues. Hope we both can get established in the championship next season!

Welcome to our forum. I have soft spot for Pompey and Bolton after everything that’s happened to us three so I really hope we are the three that go up ideally 2nd for us. I hope you thrash that ambulance chasing cockroach today. Wycombe are worst than forest in my eyes

League one, what a s*** show of a league it is. It's a tough league to get out of. This is our 7th season in league one, and we spent the prior 4 seasons in league 2.
Like yourselves we have been proper turned over by owners in the past.
So it's 11yrs for us in the bottom two leagues.
Not counting my chicken's, because 3 of the past 5 seasons we've been top of this league and blown it.
You'll be hard pressed to find a pompey fan that thinks promotion is guaranteed this season. We're only two defeats away from blowing it.

For those of you who have been to fratton park before, you'll find a complete transformation of the away end now.
It's been transformed and now has safe standing, plus you can now buy alcohol, which up until a few months ago was prohibited.
Fair play lads, you've sold your allocation, so look forward to 2,000+ rams adding to a great atmosphere.
The match is a complete sell out, so crowd should be aproching 21,000

Watching a game on telly is never the same as being there, they have got slow motion and replaying incidents over again and different angles. At the match you see the incident once and that's it, that's why I would rather be  at the game if possible. By the way my husband is an armchair fan and me, season ticket holder and his remarks when I get home you would think we were watching different games🤣

I'm not suggesting he would have, but as he was flat out on the deck, facedown with a defender and the goalkeeper on top of him, he couldn't have retaliated if he'd wanted to.

It needs a rule change that I've mentioned many times. When the ref blows the whistle for a corner, play becomes active and not when the kick is taken.
It would stop all the wrestling very quickly.

Were you there watching? No, so you're just guessing.
As @Crewton said, there was a lot of holding onto our players all through the game which the referee was ignoring. I did see that.
    Doesn't forgive what follows.

Yes  careful management and who knows there might be another 2 seasons in him even at championship level. But he has to be at CB
He is the ultimate professional and a fantastic player to stick youngsters next to

Why are people preferring Ward over Wilson at RB? Neither are defensively amazing but Wilson has looked more solid there to my eyes (and gives away less penalties).
Playing Wilson at fullback gives him the space to use his greatest strength- progressive dribbling, whilst Ward as a winger would still be able to utilise his crossing. Given that Wilson sometimes lacks end product, this way round seems more sensible to me?

Despite it being impossible, as they all play each other, I expect our four promotion rivals to take maximum points from their remaining games, while we fail to pick up a single point for the remainder of the season.
We finish 6th and, despite getting our hopes back up by sneaking past Bolton in the semis, we collapse in the against Lincoln in the final at Wembley blow a 2-0 lead to lose 5-2. Sending 40,000 Derby fans home unhappy, as 378 Imps celebrate promotion on Wembley Way.
Meanwhile, Leeds and Leicester claim Automatic promotion to the Premier League, and Nottingham Forest escape relegation by a point on the final day.All three go on to finish top 10 in the following season.
In League 2, Wrexham are promoted and proceed to spend £300m to assemble to strongest third tier side of all time, meaning that recently relegated Birmingham city have to settle for second place, as the Rams miss out again and head to Wembley to eventually lose to Rotherham. (Who are by then managed by Conor Hourihane)

What makes it worse for me is I'm fairly certain Paul Warne said something along the lines of "Sonny doesn't want to be playing league one football, he wants to be in the championship."
Could you really see him playing championship football next season? He's got to be one of the worst technical footballers I've seen for a long time. At least the likes of Darren Moore and Curtis Davies would always win headers. I'd stick with Nelson and Cash for the foreseeable.
