It might do, who can say, and no one knows what this other deduction will be if there is one. I’m expecting the 12 points to be reduced to be honest. Don’t know if that’s optimism or blind faith but I can’t see how covid would not quality as a force majeure and Derby surely would not be in administration now if it wasn’t for the pandemic

Have you got alram on Ignore?

Losing two games on the trot nowadays is end of the world stuff in any league. Whether you have a budget like Man United or in admin like Derby. Its relentless, two losses and its all over for modern fans.

There's losing, And there's the manner in which you lose, We all can have a bad day, Teams can carry 1 maybe 2 players who are having a bad day, 5-6 is pretty impossible.

I love the fact most people don’t understand football .

They just think he’s a nice slow useless player give him a contract

CD came on for the last 10mins against Sheff Wed, Still injured and proved his worth in the backline, Scored against Stoke and Blackburn, Made/makes a good partnership with Jagielka, Make a shocking cockup at Sheff Untd by giving a penalty away, Was in no mans land last night, Is Stearman a better CH?, That's down to opinion, There's understanding football and think you understand football, Hindsight is great after the event, We can all do that.

We're picking crumbs up off the football floor, I was OK with him getting a contract...and still OK with him playing for us, Was there better prospects out there other than CD?, No doubt there was, Did we look?, Were others offered contracts?, Would they have come to us with all the crap that surrounds DCFC, Your ire would be better served cold.

  4. There's things in football that really get under my skin, I played a fairly good standard on Saturdays and Sundays, Saw a few players who could/should have made the grade ie Pro or Semi Pro, But they'd sooner go out on the lash, 2 have since passed through beer/drugs.

TL had the world at his feet, Welsh International, Scoring goals for us, Then Loses his Mother, And followed up with Joinergate, There's many including myself who've lost a loved one, It hurts and can bring you down, The sympathy I had for Lawrence during the time of Joinergate has gone, He's stealing a living from DCFC imo, He brings very little to our game, He certainly isn't Captain material, I'd Bin him in January and look for someone who has a good work ethic.

This Captain Tom showed what can be done if you have what it takes.

put this in the matchday thread but probably fits in here ..

Ive watched every game this season, we have played really well in most games without always having that cutting edge required. last couple of games (and first half v Coventry) have been the worst ive seen (apart from the late debacle at Peterboro)..

    why?

Any number of possibilities - many already mentioned..

    Thin squad fatigue?

    Those over 35s getting knackered?

Moving away from the solid defence - hit them on the break style?

    Bottom of the table itis?

    CKR back?

I really dont know...tonight has done no damage in terms of our position v safety...but psychologically I do worry about the impact and the big gap now to 23rd..I mean we played great v Preston without getting the result - they go and win at Bournemouth tonight - so we know we have the perrformances in us..

    Thoughts?

We as in the suppporters, Or we as in the players?

After watching last night on TV so only a bit part supporter, Our team play was fractured at best, No Shinnie so the aggression was lost in the middle of the park, Both of our left backs were poor, I can't understand how a young mobile and fitter Buchanon can't get in the team against an ageing clumsey forgetfull Forsyth, Both at fault for both the goals, Lawrence...Pah, Morrison goodish in spells...one thing of note his shooting other than the one that was blocked in the box was poor, His passing at times non existant as he chose to do it his way, Bird was good to watch, Central pairing in Davis and Jagielka both looked cumbersome for the 1st time.

No complaints with Roos a couple of decent saves and blocks, Byrne seems to be running out of steam, Knight just never got into the game enough, Baldock scored so did a job but little else, CKR you get what you see, A big fella who gives his all, But if we can't get behind and deliver crosses then we only lump it forward without any backup from the midfield.

Ebosele, Why this boy doesn't start is frustrating for me, He has the pace and skill to run at defenders, A couple of crosses...one where we SHOULD have scored when hitting the bar, Won a couple of free kicks, Lost the ball a couple of times.

For me i'd go 3 at the back with Stearman coming in, 2 wing backs in Byrne and Buchanon, Shinnie and Bird in the middle, Ebosele wide left, CKR and Baldock upfront...And bin Lawrence to the bench.

As for the Managment team...very difficult times for all, Are the players playing for them, Are they as frustrated as us the fans, Is training not what it should be...with CDs comments, Are players playing as a team or individuals...only WR and his staff know this.

90 points to play for...so 10 wins, 10 draws and 10 defeats with no more point deductions will give us 45 points...enough to stay up...not a frigging clue ?

Well, as much as I hate to say it, we're screwed ?

We're screwed if we carry on playing like that, Forsyth and Buchanon wouldn't make a good left back together after that performance, There wasn't even a bright spark, The header that hit the bar should have hit the net...that was as poor as our defending.

The Management team have a shedload on their plate with this squad, The fight was extinguished by a team that was as bad as us

I'm not seeing that at all.  No reason at all not to win or biggest match of the season so far.  Barnsley are cack and there should be more than enough in this team.  They've been appalling.

The fight we shown in games previous to this has gone, And replaced by lack of confidence, We're poor...very poor

It’s quite a simple process really, let me try and explain It to you….

he was running a failing business through years and years of bad boardroom decisions, and then he decided to stop putting his money into the club to cover up these mistakes he has been consistently making…and…we went bust…

    that clear enough for you?

    Nope!
