Bird, Knight, Hourihane, Smith and Sibley all competing for the 2 CM positions is enough cover to allow Tommo to go out and get regular first team football.

Rather Knight than Hourihane - sadly maybe he is off soon after all. 

Well fair enough. Hourihane is a luxury item,  and we earn one of those if Jason energiser Bunny is on the pitch. This leads to Bird on the Bench though and if you’re brave enough to suggest that surely you get banned for life

. Tommo’s distribution was good when he first broke into the team but has been seriously problematic at times this season. His energy is always fabulous. Confidence seems to be low - I think he’s capable of a first team place but we’ve not seen that form for a while
 
But if Bielik was with us and fit he’d be, literally, the strongest player in the division. 

To be fair, that’s what all such loan companies do. Lend money and charge an interest rate they feel they can get away with (depending on how close they are to being the lender of last resort), how high the risk is and what, if any level of security is put forward. 

Ironically, we wouldn't have won our second league title in 74/75 if we'd have had 3 points for a win, Ipswich finishing in third would have beat us on goal difference/average.

Given his height it’s hard to fathom how JK gets on the end of so many plum chances in the box. If he put a few more of them away we’d win more games - whether we deserve to or not

We should have won 1-0 then.  Knight being stopped getting a clear header also had shades of one.

By JK’s standards his last 2 games at RB were poor and maybe there was some friction between him and PW about where he played. I’d think JK in midfield and Smith staying at RB makes most sense, not least because it puts the energy where you need it 

Even so. Unless he’d been sold prior to administration, which doesn’t seem to have ever been on the table, his drop in value is of no interest to creditors especially now when it is only if interest to DC.

Just looked at this for the first time to work out exactly how much DC paid. Sure he paid 22 for the stadium, 18 for the club’s assets. So at least 40. But it’s not clear what else he might have paid eg to cover unsecured creditors. Not is it clear what MM might have tipped into the bottomless pit. So at least 40
Also, there is reference to £555k having been paid to the club ‘in error’ during the review period. Wondered whether that was part of the money paid by Stretford allegedly on behalf of Kirchner
It’s an expensive business, going bust - on a quick look it seems the hordes of lawyers charged about as much as the administrators - between 1 and 2 m in each case
