Don’t get it.  Just can’t understand how Q can appoint CK as pb - and sign an spa with him - without first ensuring there will be no ‘logistical’ issues that stand in the way of completion

No matter how many times you repeat it the EFL cannot interfere with the administration of the club, the administrators don't have to accept anything, they are only reportable to the judiciary.

It's been a very quiet day.
Chris Kirchner's bid might, or might not have collapsed. That might or might not be the fault of the fans. His funds have either cleared or they haven't. He might be in Barhain or London.
Mike Ashley might or might not be about to swoop in with a bid which might or might not be for £28m and might or might not include the stadium. It might or might not be enough to avoid a points deduction.
The stadium itself might or might  not be owned by Mel Morris, or it cloud be Clowes or even a Clown.
Rooney might or might not have funded last months wages. We might or might not be about to sell some season tickets.
The EFL might or might not allow us to start next season still in adminstration.
And it's mainly Mel Morris's fault.

I've kept quiet on this as thought best to see how things play out.
One thing a lot of people seem to be completely forgetting on this, is that contracts have been exchanged, conditional on the ground sale.
Therefore, unless it is the ground sale that stops the transaction from progressing, CK is on the hook.
Not sure why anyone thinks he would exchange contracts if he did not have the money to back it up.
Out of interest, to anyone that has spent the day abusing CK, how will you now react to him if the purchase goes ahead?

I can't believe the lack of speculation re who paid 2 months wages, especially as it's not CK, MM or Rooney.
    Someone linked to the club?
    MSD?

But if contracts were exchanged on condition a stadium deal would be done, the contracts can be torn up if MM doesn’t sign a deal
it’s Q’s job to control this process and the deal is careering around like a raging bull on steroids

"It'll come out soon" could be referring to the funds currently "trapped" in the anti money laundering checks....or.........
The reasons for the deal collapsing will come out soon.
Obviously, without context the phrase indicates the second of those. And, I believe my faith in the takeover has ended.

The idea MM wants to remain involved sounds ludicrous. He’s been wanting to close this chapter for over 2 years
Q told us it would be tomorrow, CK has offered no update on that, so ...

Maybe I'm wrong but in the long list of things that need to happen, CK transferring the cash is the first of that final stage.
If CK was a tyre kicker, that's where the delay would be and I suspect we'd have heard from Q, saying they were waiting on funds being transferred.
I personally think its safe to assume CK has done his bit, and the delay is all the transferring of that money to other parties and whatever else they need to do.
    Everything will be fine ?

I will just add one bit, it saddens me a little that I feel like some "fans" would rather this fall through just so they can say I told you so.... I get the feeling a few of them will be slightly disappointed at good news. For the most part, this season has pulled everyone together, but it's also shown up a few people for not their opinion, but there attitude with that opinion

Well I'm currently enjoying a lovely walk whilst replying to you.
Tomorrow I'm accompanying my 4 year old son on his school trip, super excited.
Just found out I'm expecting my 2nd child, after losing one last year, buzzing, excited, nervous.
My football club is on its arse and has been for a couple of years now, we have been fed lie after lie. Forgive me for having negative thoughts where Mel Morris, Quantuma and the current state of the club are concerned.
    Can't have everything I suppose.

Yes I was in Leicester, But travelled up from London as I was the head of the Stables at the time, Richard was losing the war and I was dying for a number 2, I nipped from the battle field only to hear Richard shout..."a horse a horse my kingdom for a horse", I hurried and finished my number 2 and Richard was no where to be seen, Most probably fell in a ditch some where and got covered over with dirt.
