First of all we need to win tonight which won't be easy. Would rather have played Spain, Italy will play a defensive game to try and stop us from playing football, they will foul players all the time, there players will go down injured when it suits them. At the end of the day the Italians still know how to cheat and gamesmanship. As old Derby fans will remember from the European Cup Semi-Final against Juventus in 1973, And if Denmark do beat us then I want them to win it, I couldn't support the Italians in anything, still haven't forgive them for 1973.

Didn't watch yesterday's race as it was obvious Verstappen was going to win again, it's a cert he is going to become the F1 World Champion this season unless something really drastic happens. Reminds me of when Alonso came along to challenge the dominant Michael Schumacher is it the changing of the guard in F1?
-
Fantastic result last night and England have been doing the right things through out the tournament, I think Denmark will be hard but I think we can be them but my biggest fear is ITALY without a doubt. Let's hope we can beat them.

Is there anyone like me really dreading this season? I'm just not looking forward to what's going to happen. At present can enjoy the Euro's and England's success and the joys of what football can bring. Remember the days when we had that with Derby County? The days of Clough, Mackay, Cox and Smith, great players and great football.

Well we are thin on numbers at the moment but while efl and boro git gibson not a lot we can do about it.
It's a league 1 squad without a doubt.

Whatever happens with the EFL I for one I'm dreading next season if by chance were still in the championship then it will only be for one season because with the squad we have now we are going to be the whipping boys and league 1 will soon become a reality. I really think this as become the lowest of the clubs history.

It's obvious the EFL have a big Vendetta against Derby all I will say on the issue is I've been a Rams supporter since 1971 seen the glory days and the bad days but if the EFL relegate us and we end up in League 1 next season then that's me finished with football this all stinks of politics between Parry and Gibson. Mel Morris I feel as just destroyed our club.

Pélé was without doubt the greatest footballer.
The perfect player and a perfect gentleman.
He was utterly unselfish on the pitch, if he felt another player was better placed to score he would pass to them. (All at a time when 'assists' were uncreditted)
His character was summed up perfectly for me when Gordon Banks made THAT save....
"I shouted 'goal' but then saw the ball saved by Banks. For a moment I hated him more than anyone I knew but then I joined in the heartfelt applause!" They became lifelong friends from then on.
At 80 he is without doubt a living legend!
And the balls were a lot heavier in those days not like today's football's that travel so fast.

I would love to see him sign very impressed with his display on Friday, but can't see it happening will end up somewhere else.

Can't see in anyway England winning the Euro's, if there lucky to get out this group the furthest they will get it is Quarter-Finals, feel like Southgate is the wrong manager far to conservative/defensive manager. Maybe someone like Lampard would make a better England manager.

I was to young to remember the 70 world cup but have seen that fantastic Brazilian team on TV plenty of times. Everyone goes on about Ronaldo been the greatest player ever but for me Pele was the greatest, be interested in people's thoughts?

Scotland were superb. They probably should have won on balance of chances created.
I can’t believe we were down as one of the favourites for the tournament.
We have been so lacklustre in both games. The funny thing is this format means you only need to play one good game from four and you can find yourself in the quarter finals.
Scotland should have won they were far the better team they outclassed England on tactics and commitment and if they had got a decent forward they would have scored a couple of goals. I couldn't believe how slow we kept passing the ball around the back line. Any decent team would beat us on that performance. Good luck to Scotland hope you win against Croatia.
-
Dreading this season think we will be relegated and also think we will have an awful team, if you think last season was bad then I think next season will be a lot worse.

Really happy for Wales win tonight. Hopefully they will finish 2nd in there group.

I get where you're coming from but it's up to the others to match up to the dedication, professionalism, stamina and mental strength of Djokovic who right now is on a different planet.
He wore out Nadal over 4 and a half hours and then came back from 2 sets down 2 days later against the world number 3. Whether you like it or not the man is an absolute machine and will go down in history as one of the best sportsmen/women of all time.
Still hate him and his dominance of tennis is boring.

It's not the team I'd have selected but my selection would have been based entirely on watching these players on the telly and not working with them in training, understanding their states of mind, their niggles etc.
I'm not a tactical genius, I get no thrill from 'calling' something. I'm just looking forward to the game and the tournament. If yesterday's events taught me anything, it is that we should enjoy stuff while we have it.
I agree 100% with you there my friend, I would love us to win it but wouldn't be bothered if we didn't to many important things in life than getting upset over football.

I'm not sure how any of that counts as 'pathetic' One might even call it courageous to play a full back on the opposite side and to not pick 'one of our best players'. The opposite of 'pathetic'.
You might not agree with this alleged team selection and it might even make you angry but I don't see how such a selection is pathetic.
PS Italy did just fine the other night with a right-footed left back.
Just my opinion you obviously think it's a good team selection.

I don't understand. What's 'pathetic'?
To play a right back at left back when you have Chilwell and Shaw good left backs, Mings at Centre Back, no Grealish one of our best players.

Hope these reports aren't true.
Grealish man of the match in both games and clearly a top draw player yet he's sat on the bench.
Starting a right back at left back. What will Chilwell and Shaw be thinking? Just staggering.
Pathetic.

So do I!
I love the way Federer plays the game and would like to see him remain as the player with the most Grand Slams, certainly for the forseeable future - unfortunately I think he is going to be very quickly overhauled ?
Federer or Nadal I don't mind but I would love to see a new generation of players start to win grand slams. One things for sure will not watch today's final can see it been one sided and boring hope I'm wrong.

Looks like it is Pickford; Walker, Stones, Mings, Trippier; Rice, Phillips; Foden, Mount, Sterling; Kane.
Yuck.
Mings always has a mistake in him would of played Coady of Wolves instead. What is up with Rashford?

I think we can beat them 2-1 today. Need to get of to a good start for a change, hopefully the fans can get behind the team.

I don't mind Djokovic tbh, he's better viewing than Nadal imo and assuming he takes the title he'll be just 1 Grand Slam behind both Federer and Nadal.
I'd like to see Federer get at least 1 more Grand Slam, what with covid, his injuries and age being against him now, it just feels like his career has petered out a bit through no real fault of his own.
But yeah, Djokovic has got age and athleticism over his big two rivals and the next generation aren't really at their level yet. If he stays injury free he could dominate for a few more years and eventually go on to claim around 25 Grand Slams imo.
I really hope your wrong.

There free kick was a very soft decision by the ref so it works both ways.
