  1. Yesterday watched the real life drama story of Raoul Moat on ITV and then watched the real life documentary the manhunt for him, the tv drama was frightening/tense  because you knew he was going to kill that man and you was just waiting for that to come. I thought the documentary was excellent showing footage of the manhunt and talking to the police who were involved.

  2. I really think Arsenal have done a Newcastle in the 90's and Leeds plenty of times in the 70's and bottled it and will lose the Premier League Title to Manchester City and if they lose on Wednesday to City then they will have blown it big time. Different times but at least when we won our 2 championship's we never bottled it.

Think we might see the same Saturday, they have played all the top teams later and done rather well,in fact better than we have against the top teams

Yes that's what I fear it was always going to be a hard match but they have hit some form lately. We can't afford to drop points at this stage of the season.

  4. It's understandable that a lot of fans despise Man City because of there ownership, Newcastle will be the next team to hate because of there owners once they start winning something. This is what The Premier League/Sky created there monster. I would love to know what Brian Clough would think of today's football. Thanks for your opinions.

  5. As a English team do you want Manchester City to finally win the Champions League? I am definitely supporting them I believe they are the best team in Europe at present and would be deserved champions. But I can understand a lot of fans of other clubs are jealous of Man City's success and don't want them to win the Champions League.

  6. Burnley and Sheffield United for automatic promotion and Luton and Middlesbrough in play off places really would like to see Coventry and Sunderland take the other 2 play off places. I would love to see Sunderland go up by the play off's. Just hope Millwall don't get in.

Warnock hates Reading. Stretches back to when Reading and Sheff Utd were gunning for promotion. There was proper beef between the two at the time. I’m sure he’d love to relegate them on the final day.

I think Warnock hates everyone. LOL

Lots of chelsea fans on our golf roll up app , they’re reaction to lampard team news took me right back to Wembley

Glad it's happened to someone else, well out of his depth, another one of Mel Morris mistakes.

  9. Well Chelsea's pathetic display against Real Madrid in the Champions League just proves to me how rubbish Lampard is as a manager over the last 16 games as Everton/Chelsea manager I think he as won 1 game, if I was Lampard I would pack up now as a manager and go back to been a tv pundit, I still believe with the players he had at Derby we should have got automatic promotion. I would be interested in anyone else's opinion's on Lampard. Do you rate him as a manager?

Based on current form we don’t “deserve” to be 7th. We would be much lower than that. At the end of the day though, we deserve to finish where actually finish based on the season as a whole (unless you believe the conspiracy theories of course in which case we deserve to finish as champions but have been cheated out of it. “duck the EFL duck the EFL duck the EFL” 😀).

Very good point Tamworthram and agree with everything you say.

Anyone recommend any interesting destinations in Europe, I've been quite lucky in as much I've been to the majority of the major capitals and am now running out of inspiration......only places left I can see are Berlin (doesn't really interest me), ditto Madrid and Copenhagen and Vienna or Geneva (don't really grab me either tbf)

Lisbon a fantastic capital with loads to do, food is gorgeous and plenty of sunshine.

Maybe do away with the champions league and europa league go back to European cup and UEFA cup plus cup winners cup winners of uefa and cup winners gain entry to European cup. Only league winners enter European cup others play uefa cup all straight knock out. Players then play fewer games and everyone will want to win the FA cup again. Football was sooo much better back in the day

Wouldn't that be fantastic to see. We can only dream. Sky and  Premier League created a monster in 1992 and it will only get far worse.

I have never seen a group of people more pampered than modern elite footballers. It's honestly putting me off the sport. Dean Smith encouraging Billy Gilmore to play with a fever maybe isn't the best idea, but it's being treated like he almost killed him. It's absolutely pathetic.

    Well said.

And you can guarantee that if they get the mid-season break that they all so desperately want, they will immediately arrange foreign tours to generate more revenue…..

If the clubs at the top are struggling to play so many games they are absolutely welcome to resign from the Champions League….

Well said Gaspode couldn't agree more these parasites are just ruining our game.
