Just seen a tweet that Mercedes are requesting a review of Verstapen running Hamilton off the track "on the basis of new evidence unavailable to the Stewards at the time of their decision" - guess the on-board camera footage from Max's car has finally come to light.....

The FIA won't do anything about it.

It's pretty clear the part just moved or failed slightly. It's not like some super clever trying to get around the regulations thing. It's not hard to picture an "instruction to fix the part" if he'd qualified P3.

Mercedes have had a top speed advantage over red bull all year and have now found a set up that's competetive through the corners. Were Merc supposed to just go "oh well, we give up, red bull is faster"

I think it's red bull racing more than it's Max that are annoying - i remember what an utter bamford Vettel was at red bull and how he bacame a whole lot more likeable once he left, there's deffo something about how Horner and Marco go about things that's pertty vulgar.

Yes I have to agree with you there 2 arrogant tools. No other team principal as bad as Horner so far up his backside.

Hamilton starts at the back after being disqualified from yesterday's qualifying.

Unless Bottas is in the mood to pull a Nelson piquet jr (or Bottas hungaroring) type move I fear championship is over.

RadioactiveWaste I've come to the conclusion that F1 this season as been corrupted by Jean Todt and Stefano Domenicali they have changed the rules to make Red Bull quicker but make Mercedes weaker this season and why is it that Verstappen gets a fine but no grid penalty yet Lewis is disqualified? I'm sorry I want to see clean competitive racing but it's not happening. I feel angry and disgusted and I'm finished with this season now.

Hate Horner and his side kick Dietrich Mateschitz.

  5. Just my opinion but I think Gerrard should have stayed at Rangers for a couple of more seasons and gained  more experience for the Liverpool job when it becomes available, I think going to Villa now will be a hard job because they are a middle of the Premier League team who will never challenge the top 6.

Would be surprised if Steven Gerrard took the job, favourite for it apparently.

Contract expires at Rangers the same time as Klopp's at Liverpool.

Keep Rangers in a title challenge until then and the job at Liverpool will be his, no interview required.

Goes to Villa, struggles to lift them, will start to be questioned if he's ready for a top job, which would be unfair given the resources would be totally different up at Liverpool.

Maybe someone like Lampard or Martinez a better fit.

Levy is the problem at that club. Doesn't invest properly and falls out with the manager. They have gone backwards.

I think that's an understatement Rammy03, to think in 2018/2019 they got to the champions league final against Liverpool they had a good team under Pochettino but as you state Levy wouldn't invest to take them to the next level and as you say they have gone backwards. There fans think there a top team but they haven't won the old first division/premier league since 1960/1961.

His Wolves team was totally different, not the slow style you describe ziggy, they were pacy

Yes that's what I can't understand, his 1st season in The Championship they were playing fantastic football and his 1st season in The Premier League but last season they played in a similar way to Spurs this season and the Wolves fans didn't like it and they got rid of him and now under Bruno Lage they are playing a lot more attacking style again.
