Save it mate. Heard far too much drivel form ITKs this season.

What is the point of this post?
There’s not a word or theory that’s not been done to death on many different threads.
If you already got it if your chest on Facebook why bother posting on here other than you don’t read this forum very much and have missed this place tear itself inside out in recent weeks.

Well amid all this negativity and "I'm not watching", I'm really looking forward to this. A cup final if ever there was one and the first time since Leeds away in the play offs, a game to get really excited and nervous about. If we win, we deserve to stay up, if we lose we deserve to go down, so ultimately we will get what's coming to us!
Regardless, I'll have a couple of beers and enjoy it as a game that actually, really and properly matters.

We are hypercritical of our football team right now but in reality we’re in games to the end.
Sure there’s a couple of games where we got well beaten and even yesterday Swansea’s two attempts on goal that where on target went in.
They had 4 attempts two went in we had 9 with 4 on target and 1 went in.
It must be soul destroying for the team because they are doing what normally would be enough to get something out of a game but it’s just not happening.
We watch and the opposition score and immediately the red mist descends and we criticise everything.
We see threads dedicated to how rubbish we are and plenty pile in to vent.
Through the red mist it’s hard to see that we are, in fact, trying to win a football match.
We are not a bad football team but in my opinion the wind is against us and we will go down.
In the 11 point season we lost 7 in a row because we had nothing like the quality of the opposition and were played off the park.
in the last 6 games we’ve had one really bad performance against Preston the other games just haven’t gone our way, with decisions or goalies playing out of there skin. A defensive slip gets punished nearly every time.
We are not getting anything go our way. This is why is so difficult to fix. How do you make luck change?
As I said I think we’ll go down but I say it’s not without trying as many are saying.

24Charlie reacted to Gringo in Worst fans in the world?
Based on the idiotic ramblings on here over the past month or so, I have come to the firm conclusion that we have some of the worst “fans” in the footballing world.
At least 50% plus of the posters on this site it would seem are praying we get relegated so that they can scream “I told you so” in their insane vitriolic campaign against Wayne, Mel and the players
The older and wiser posters on here have been in this situation before and can handle our current predicament, we need supporters who will support our club and not to behave like headless gutless chickens.
I firmly believe we will not go down but on the very slim chance that we do, the world will not stop spinning and the club will go on and it will not go bust, we need a bit of Dunkirk spirit to be shown by our supporters, not the defeatist attitude I keep reading.

24Charlie reacted to Jourdan in Wayne Rooney
People are saying he deserves financial backing. People are saying he deserves a transfer window. People are saying he deserves his own hand-picked coaching team.
If it had been a closely contested battle all the way down to the last day, I could understand this point.
If Rotherham and Wednesday had produced incredible form to keep us in danger, I could understand this point.
But it wasn’t always close. At the end of February, we were 9 points clear of Rotherham and 10 points clear of Wednesday. It’s down to 2 and 3 points respectively now.
But Rotherham and Wednesday haven’t produced incredible form. Wednesday have picked up 12 points in 13 games since. Rotherham have picked up 12 points in 14 games.
For us, it has been a capitulation of the highest order and any signs of optimism from Rooney’s early tenure have vanished faster than a burger from my plate.
And some of us want to reward Rooney with more time in the job? I can’t believe what I am reading.

I don’t understand this thinking.
Barnsley would have been relegated last season but for Wigan’s points deduction. Now they are in the playoffs.
It’s also likely the fans will be back and there’ll be a change of ownership and/or a new manager.
Things will be much different so to assume that the obvious thing to happen is relegation next year as an obvious follow on to this season is IMO a bit of a reach.

Alan Shearer at Newcastle. He had a lot less games but couldn’t keep them up.
Fell on his sword and stuck to punditry

Roy serious question - do you actually believe what you are progressing on here as like other posters have already commented it's not convincing at all and your arguments are wafer thin.
The hackneyed argument well name me someone who would have done a better job than so and so is such a tired and redundant argument as it's instantly unable to be justified by any party in the argument, which says to me a lot of this is just bedevilment.

We have never lost 6 in a row at this level of football we have never scored so few goals at this level of football.
It’s just a freakish season with no fans. People are trying to fathom the unfathomable. Don’t bother just give it up to bad luck. It may change at the weekend it may not but this season just is what it is.
Rooney is just the unlucky bloke in charge.
