Hes not been mentioned in DTs injury reports recently
Derby injury latest and return dates ahead of Lincoln City clash

Not listed in the injury updates, not in the match day squad, not having a run out in under 21s, where is Korey Smith?
-
Only just seen this. Sad news. Sending best wishes to his family

African Cup if Nations starts 13th January, so if we extend we will lose him for at least three weeks. This may have influenced the initial decision of a contract until Jan 24.

And isn't it David Clowes perception that the budget is "good for this league".
He presumably cannot know this so it is his judgement.
He is an intelligent business man with a capable team around him. All football teams finances are a matter of public record once filed. It isn't hard to work out what every team spent on wages and fees in league 1, factor in inflation and compare to our own finances. He also has a manager who has worked in L1 and knows what a good budget is.

Is he a cross between a Labrador a Dalmatian and a Poodle? I hope he doesn't get caught short near a goal post.

Any news about Mark Harris? This is a Mark Harris thread right?

the reference to Australian seems a bit unnecessary in this particular context
We had a stroll around Melbourne (not Australia) on Thursday. It was very nice, we had lunch in one of the many cafes.

Is there actually any evidence of this? Have any shirt sponsors had an impact on you? I was born in the 90s, so I'll start there...
Puma - I'd favour Puma sports footwear over other brands, but I'm buying some footwear anyway.
EDS - still not sure who/what they are/do. I haven't even been tempted to look.
Pedigree - Has no influence on what I choose to drink.
The Derbyshire - No influence on the building society I use.
Bombardier - Raised my awareness of them. May make me slightly more likely to want to work for them than if they didn't sponsor us.
BuyMobiles.net - Raised awareness of them so i would check how much a new phone with them would cost compared to rivals. Did not make me want to buy a new phone though.
JustEat - Raised awareness of the brand when they were relatively new. Convenience means I have a takeaway more often than I would have done if they didn't exist. But, I'd be showing the same behaviour if they hadn't sponsored us.
32Red - Never bet with them, although I stopped gambling a few years before they started to sponsor us.From my experience, the advertising is all about grabbing a bigger piece of the market, rather than 'grooming children'.
FYI EDS - Electronic Data Systems were the US based IT Services company Rolls-Royce sold all its computing requirements to and TUPEd it computing and data support etc. Somewhere around the early 90s. They provided a lot of IT solutions for big sporting events, hence the sports sponsoring. It was bought by HP a few years later and eventually renamed.
Irrelevant but fills the gap

For his own sake Tom needs to move on. We can’t afford his wages in league 1 and our fans will always associate his name with Joiner gate.
I always think that he would be a better player if he could remember that there is no i in team.
Thanks Tom, but no thanks.
There's no f in team either ........

Have there been any rumours about who will be running the club? New CEO?

Yeah - try explaining that to the gammons as they literally explode with rage when they get told. Actually, it could work well - we could cleanse the nation of all the woke haters in one clean swoop - it would be a bit like the end of Kingsmen with heads popping all over the place.
As a gammon, who has just finished a campaign of C&C Generals, having downloaded all 17 games in the series, stick your stereotyping up your Tiberium Sun.

Are footballers 'Assets' to be depreciated or 'Employees' to be TUPEd across? Or both? I ask this question in the hope of moving this thread to 3000 pages. Also because 'Your people are your greatest asset' is a statement that has never been quantified.

I'll take your Championship club and table Premier League clubs, Southampton and Leicester borrow from MSD I believe monies against the next seasons season ticket sales, Burnley's owner borrowed 2x £65million for the purchase of Burnley, If relegated £65m has to be paid back pronto, Both loans were taken out on Burnley FC, There will be other clubs that go down the route of borrow now and pay later, The £4.5billion that Chelsea are being sold for beggars belief, How in the name of Jehovah did this figure come about.
Football imo is in a saloon where last orders are soon to be called, If the Euro Super League comes to fruition as I believe it aint dead just in a Coma money will flood in that direction and chicken feed will be left on the floor for others to fight over.
Stone him !!!!!!

Servco FC, you may know them a Glasgow Rangers are a club that started in the 4th league of the Scottish pyramid after the old club Glasgow Rangers went into liquidation in 2012. Most people believed they would win back to back to back promations but that didn't happen. Also as far as Im concerned a phoenix club is in no way the original club hence the phoenix club has no history and no trophies to its name.
There are at least 100,000 Rangers fans who don't share your opinion. Same fans, same ground, same trophy cabinet, just different owners. Duck the SFL ring a bell?

I think we have learned that he doesn’t know as much as he lets on. The fact he said Ashley was out of the running for Ashley himself to come out only a day later to say it was a load of rubbish.
When you call him out he blocks you. That tells you all you need to know about Nixon.

1972 & 1975 at the BBG were special, I was 10 for the first one and thought winning the league was what we did every year. Strangely the atmosphere watching Arthur Cox's teams win back to back promotions from division 3 to division 1 still stand out in my memory, we went to some obscure grounds and packed them out.
