Having strangely failed to find the answers to my questions in the FAQs, I sent the following on the message link above:

"Could you advise please whether any party that has (or potentially has) a claim against Derby County is involved in any decision making by the EFL, either at Board or Executive level with regard to the EFL's decision ongoing involvement with the administration and potential future of Derby County.

If the answer is that such a party does have some involvement in the shaping of the EFL's approach and decision making with regard to the administration of Derby County, can you explain please how you ensure that no conflict of interest will arise.

For the avoidance of doubt, please treat 'party' as referring to an organisation, or employee of that organisation, or any body or third party who could reasonably be said to be representing that organisation.

    Thank you."
They have told me that they will hope to respond within 7 working days..............

Surprised you haven't included Dixon in that squad, to me he always looks one of the best players.

    This.
It's perhaps overlooked that Sibley has only recently turned 20. He's had 55 1st team appearances, including as sub. Jason Knight has 88 and he's 6 months older. The hype and expectation when he made that explosive start to his 1st team career probably did him no favours (with his agent getting £££ signs in his eyes too, perhaps). He was certainly "off it" at the start of last season and seeme to be trying too hard to make an impression in the first team. Getting back to what he does best is what's important for his career, not a move to another club where he'll quite possibly not be first choice either. He'll be back, I'm sure of that.

They may be, although we don't actually seem to have lost to Stoke recently.  The highlights of Saturday's draw with Chelsea are on their website, with some  commentary.  The trialist CB seems to be wearing no. 12 and I think the commentator referred to him as Callum Robertson, or something along those lines.
On the Kain Ryan front, some posters seem to be reacting as if we've lost the next Rio Ferdinand.  Perhaps we have, but its more likely that we haven't.  He may not have featured much for the 18s, not because he was injured, but basically because Rutt, Aideyan, Brailsford and Cox have been doing better than him.  It was his agent who flagged up the news & of course it would be entirely wrong of us to think that he might have been behind the story about lots of Premier League interest ........  Anyway, good luck to Kain going forwards.
With the Gordon & Delap departures, I can see why people  are worried.  But 16 is very young to be judging players.  If you remember back to when Lee Holmes first appeared at 15 for us, we'd have been gutted if he had left at that point for next to no money.  As it was, though, he never really kicked on and we gave him a free transfer when he was 21.    Similarly, just think how elated we would have been to get Bobby Duncan when he was 16 and The Next Big Thing?.
Meanwhile, we've done our own share of signing young players from elsewhere in Plange and Ebiowe.  Plange was of course terrific on Friday night, and as for Ebiowe, from the little I've seen of him so far, definitely seems to have a considerable amount about him.

That's funny, I've seen quite a lot of a lad called Jack Stretton in the u23s, and he is both pretty quick and has a decent first touch.   He is certainly up to mixing it with the opposition defenders physically.  Perhaps we've got two of them at the club.........

Living quite near to Kingsmeadow (where Chelsea play their games and rather unsportingly booted out the local team Kingstonians...) I went along to this.    We were quite unlucky to lose, playing better than we did the other night against Charlton. Everybody turned in a decent 6 or 7 out of 10 performances, with the exception of Liam Thompson, who was the best player on the pitch, at least for the first 75 mins.   He outshone both of those perennial Chelsea stars of the future Lewis Baker and George McEachran.
The sending off changed the game - it was a clear red, so we can't feel cheated.  After that the most we could hope for was to hang on for 0 - 0.  Some random thoughts:
Harrison Foulkes is a tidy keeper, but also unfortunately a tiny one.  He seemed barely visible when their player took the penalty, although Mart Poom standing on the crossbar would have struggled to reach it. We were quite, erm, 'professional' in breaking up Chelsea's potential attacks with carefully timed fouls Jack Stretton certainly likes mixing it with the defenders, often leaving something in there on challenges Ossie Aghitese, who I've always thought looks like he's making up the numbers at u23 level, had a strong second-half performance & so hopefully he's beginning to find his feet Luke Plange looks like a decent asset. Given their resources, I was quite surprised how mundane Chelsea where.  Most of their players seemed a long way of potential Premier league standard.
