Understand what you are saying but although it was Morris who pushed us in the canal and I don't think many are arguing with that, it is the EFL and their buddies who are standing on the towpath with a bargepole pushing us back in every time we manage to swim to the edge. They offer a life ring but want us to chuck them our wallet before they'll let us have it or they'll happily let us drown.

What I really like about Rooney is his basic decency. Don't walk away from a mess you made, take responsibility for the people affected by your decisions, don't run away and hide. Just basic stuff you learn as a kid. Footballers always get accused of letting the money and fame go to their heads, of losing touch, of lacking a basic moral compass. And Rooney had a lot more fame and money than most. And yet he's stuck with us at an incredibly difficult time, managing under huge restrictions, putting his reputation at great risk (let's be honest even a lot of Derby fans thought he was failing at one point), because he thinks it's the right thing to do.
If he goes to Everton I'll remember him as a great manager for us, and a great man. (Yep I'm ignoring his personal life!)

I've bit my lip long enough.....
I'm not Interested in MM one bit. He is 100% to blame for all this and clearly doesn't care much for the people of Derby, especially with us being dragged through the mire.
If it were me I would hold up my hands admit I've screwed up and do what I can to put things right before sailing off in to the sunset. If he had no links with Derbyshire you could make excuse for him. The fact he's from Derby makes it downright shameful.
If I had the money I would bail the club out as I know what the club means to the people of Derby. It absolutely breaks me that I could have taken my Grandson to PP for the last time and it is all down to MM

Idiots recording and uploading videos of the fans singing about partying when Gibson dies onto social media.

    Why?

Why can’t they just be normal rather than idiots?

Why do they think it’s useful to start alienating other fans when we need as many friends as possible in the footballing world right now?

That video is losing us sympathy left, right and centre at a time when we need to backing of our fellow football fans.  .

We need to flush these weasels out of the club or their loved ones need to ban them from drinking before the football.

And if you’re going to comment to say every club has this sort of fan then don’t bother, tired of making excuses based on the fact other clubs have fans who don’t know right from wrong after a shandy too.

90% of fans of every club are decent people
10% are downright scumbags with little to no intelligence
You can argue on % split but a clubs fans is a cross section of society.
I've not heard the chant and I'm pretty sure it's bad and don't confone such actions.
There are ways and means of a retort to someone who is wronging you but if you have the intelligence of a pea then you will just be a guttermouth.

But isn't that the point? We had a bidder based on what we understood the rules to be (we could basically reject the Boro and Wycombe claims). The EFL then said 'We won't accept this, you need to address those claims, and (at least) get your bidder to take on any future liability.'
Hey presto, we don't have a bidder. Because even if we could legally proceed, the bidder won't buy if they are going to get kicked out of the league for breaking these newly-revealed rules.

Not the number of months we've been under embargo over the past 4 years (which is almost 30 months), but the number of months since our U18s won the 18/19 League title, after beating an Arsenal side featuring Bakary Saka 5-2 in the Final. The young Rams also finished 8 points ahead of a Manchester United side which contained Mason Greenwood.

From that squad, 11 have played for our first team making a combined 419 appearances.
Those still with us and are in and around the first team:
McDonald - 8 first team apps.
JBrown - 4 first team apps.
Cashin - 3 first team apps.
Buchanan - Still only 20 but has already played 60 times.
Bird - With him making 97 appearances for the Rams, he'll be hoping to make his 100th app for the club in Feb
Thompson - Missed just 12 minutes of football since coming into the side against Bournemouth, the first of his 11 appearances.
Knight - An almost ever present in the first team since the start of the following season. He has already made 100 apps and scored 11 in the process.
Sibley - Still only 20 but has 7 goals and 4 assists in his 65 first team apps.
Festy - Already a fan favourite after 23 appearances.
Stretton - Limited to just 15 appearances given his injury troubles.
Some are still with us but are yet to play for the first team:
Dixon - Named on bench twice.
Wilson - Named on bench twice.
Matthews - yet to feature in a matchday squad.
Notable players who have since departed the club:
Whittaker - 32 appearances for Derby before moving on to Swansea where he scored 5 in 22 apps. He's currently on loan at Lincoln City where he has scored 1 in 3.
Delap - Left the club in summer 2019 for Man City, he has played for their first team on 3 occasions scoring once.
And the handful of others who have left:
Charles - Joined Mansfield and played twice, who loaned him out to York City where he made 4 apps
Archie Brown - Move to Switzerland in the summer just gone to play for Lausanne-Sport. Has made 2 apps, and a further 2 out on loan.

    Interesting.
But the nub is, it's MFC taking action against DCFC and DCFC are controlled by the administrators.
I also think there's some flexibility being played about what the issue is - from the administrators POV, it's Boro and Wycombe can't be settled because the money all goes to MSD/HMRC/other creditors and using the money to settle Boro and WW takes away from the money to Dell/MSD (etc), so yes, one way you could look at it is that the issue is MSD that's preventing a settlement to Boro/WW and is thus the barrier, but it's a bit of a disingenuous way to look at it and you can understand that MSD are not going to be likely to go "OK, we'll accept less than we agreed so the money can go to Gibson and Couhig".
    Spin wars going on.
At present Boro and WW are entitled to abousolutly £0. THey have claims that are yet to be determined in their worth, but entitled moneies? Zero.
