In terms of data, just wondered if anyone brighter than me at these things would know if we could access EFL emails between them and Boro to see if collusion occurred, via FOI?

No. I don’t think EFL are in scope, and Boro definitely wouldn’t be. Pic shows who’s in scope.

Only way to access would be police investigating a credible suspicion of criminal activity. (And that would be confidential, obviously.)

Unfortunately not - FOI only applies to public bodies and those that are publicly funded (like universities, BBC etc)

(Edit: you could however ask relevant government department for correspondence between them and the EFL (or any club) on a specific issue or over a given period of time. Or ask ministers/government for any reports or correspondence about Derby County in the last x months or years. Not sure it would turn up anything useful, and might well be heavily redacted!)

And too easy to evade. Gibson not that naive to have anything dodgy on the record.

Yeah, there won't be any smoking gun. Still might be interesting to know if anyone in government has written anything to the EFL in the last couple of weeks (and if so what).
