Reggie Greenwood reacted to Caerphilly Ram in Paul Warne appointed as Head Coach
Sharing this here as well to highlight the stats shared at the end of the interview.
7 clean sheets in 11 games, 4 clean sheets in a row and only 5 goals conceded.
Unbeaten in 15 games dating back to the Ipswich game on 21/10/22. In those 15 games (league and cup) we’ve scored 27 and conceded 8, winning 7 and drawing 8. We’ve also scored 4 or more goals in 4 out of the last 6 home games.
I know the perceived style of Warne’s Derby isn’t to everyone’s taste but he is delivering results and when it works, man does it work! ?

Why do we try to pride ourselves on being expected to work when ill, when mentally we aren't able, and when the job is literally killing us?
Why do we talk down the idea of unions defending physical and mental health?
I don't see the sense in saying, I'm killing myself, you all should be doing the same.
Workers are racing to the bottom and taking pride in winning the race.

Well guys derby are now 15 games 4th in the league and closing in on shiffield wednesday to only 7 points I think and we are getting better and better. We can so get into top 2 places we have better goal difference and have 2 games in hand over them.

Great news this is. I heard this driving home from the match. Fantastic. I thought this was going to be the last kick in the guts from the EFL/Administration but apparently not

Probably because the original post stated you must have seen them play. Unless someone’s been in a freezer for a fair few years, I think that rules Bloomer out of the running for this thread.

Reggie Greenwood reacted to Duracell in What Rams player was worth the most in their peak?
Honestly surprised we're 5 pages in and only one person has suggested Bloomer.
273 goals in 419 top flight games, and 28 goals in 23 England appearances. With that ratio, if they played more international games at the time, nobody would be able to touch his record. He remains the second-highest goal scorer in the top flight, beaten only by Jimmy Greaves.
A lot of the players mentioned were outstanding, elite players, but there were other options out there if you missed out on them as a target. Bloomer was the footballer of his era, a cut above in the same way as Ronaldo or Messi are now. It's remarkable that someone born 150 years ago before the age of celebrity footballers made such an impact on the club that we still sing about him before every home game.
