Reggie Greenwood got a reaction from Magicman in Charlton Athletic (H), 3pm Saturday 18th February.
What is remarkable is that Derby used only 16 players all season and three of them - Powell, Jim Walker and Tony Bailey - made only six starts and four substitute appearances between them although Walker grabbed a crucial winner against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.
Goalkeeper Colin Boulton and Hector played all 42 league games, John Robson missed just one. The players used and the number of appearances they made were: Colin Boulton (42), Ron Webster (38), John Robson (41), John McGovern (40), Terry Hennessey (18), Colin Todd (40), Roy McFarland (38), Archie Gemmill (40), John O'Hare (40), Kevin Hector (42), Alan Hinton (38), Alan Durban (31), Frank Wignall (11), Jim Walker (6), Steve Powell (3), Tony Bailey (1).
Taken from a DET report. Tony was a Burton lad BC bought for £1000 if my memory serves me right .

Yaarksheeer is famous for its hospitality, so you should have no problems. Just avoid SYP like the plague, cos they're the real hooligans.

If there is anyone deserving of a “free” season ticket from the club it must be B4. His enthusiasm for the club during the bleakest of times should be rewarded and if he genuinely can’t afford to renew I would hope the club would help out.

It might be tricky getting a bank loan if he’s out of work but, as you say, there must be a way. If there’s one person who deserves one it B4.

You do talk some utter rubbish.
For the first 15 odd years of PPS I had my season ticket right in the middle, back row of the East stand. The folk around me were all flask and sandwich bringing oldies, everyone sat down the entire game. Sure there was Higgo and his small group of rowdy youngsters in the South East corner but the East stand for the vast majority was seated.
The club definitely haven't got permission from the EFL/FA to turn a seated venue into a standing one (without the necessary safe standing rail seats) as this isn't their decision, it's simply the law. The stadium is 100% seated. The occasional blind eyes may be turned but the club have to show they are making effort to enforce the law. If they do not, the safety certificate will be removed. We've seen it all other stadiums where entire stands are closed, or worse the stadium is closed.

I can tell you don't have children.
The world doesn't revolve around watching Derby County. Not wanting to swear, stand or being able to attend every match doesn't make someone less of a supporter than you. You obviously have the time and financial freedom to go to all the matches. Others have families and work taking up time and expenses.
For me, one away day costs about £100, which is about the same as six months of swimming lessons per child. It's a no brainer.

I honestly have no idea how I'm supposed to feel at 70. My father and both grandfathers never made it anywhere close. I do have a morbid curiosity when reading about dead rock stars, footballers from the past and other celebrities - my first thought upon reading about their demise at a relatively young age is usually "Ha! Beat another"

Reggie Greenwood reacted to Crewton in Serial Whingers Notts Forest playtime, which we simply cannot accept.
He had a large squad at his disposal when he took over - they were in a false position when you compare it to the rest of the division - and then he was backed with expensive loan signings, free transfers of recent PL players and cash purchases like Surridge. In the end, it took a fluke goal at Wembley to get them promoted. And then he's been backed with a level of spending unprecedented amongst newly promoted clubs - check out the figures for yourself. A nomination for Manager of the Season is laughable.

Today Broad and Anderson broke McGrath and Warne’s record for most test wickets by a pair of test bowlers playing together. 1002 ! Records are there to be broken but given the dominance of the shorter forms it’s hard to imagine that this one will ever be challenged.
