Fair enough, I don't think they are wild opinions to hold though, which is what they are, opinions.
If anyone is trying to pass it off as facts then they are wrong, but it's no different to those that say we would have beaten Villa had we played Marriott over Bennett.
Rooney hasn't been flawless, it's his first job in management, you have experienced managers such as Klopp that say they are still learning so it's a given that Rooney will make mistakes but I don't believe he should be crucified for them.

Yeah he was. Ironically common drugs like Aspirin, Benadryl or Zyrtec (anti histamine drugs generally) all have a risk of adverse side effect on fertility.  I bet quite of few of those refusing the jab would quite happily pop one of those pills.
To quote Professor Emma Duncan a professor of Clinical Endocrinology at King’s College London:
“The question of male fertility and COVID-19 vaccines has been studied for mRNA vaccines; and there is no evidence that sperm counts or motility (sperm capability to move/ swim) or male fertility are affected by vaccination. There have been no concerns raised about AstraZeneca to date either.
However, what is important is that there is evidence that men who are recovering from moderately severe COVID-19 have reduced sperm quality and counts 1-2 months after their illness, compared with men who have mild or asymptomatic infection – though in the study that looked at this the values were still in the normal range and may recover further with time.
The best advice for men who are planning a family is to get vaccinated – for their own sake and for the sake of their partner – as COVID-19 in pregnancy – particularly late in pregnancy – is associated with a higher chance of adverse outcomes for both the mother and the baby.  There is no evidence that vaccination affects fertility of either men or women.”

Hope you get this sorted and as you put it the club shop don't mug you off.
If they start saying that it's been lost in transit or Hermes have misplaced it and they say you have to chase Hermes don't take any of that and tell them that your contract is with them not Hermes so they need to chase Hermes for costs and they send out a replacement to you FOC.
I'm only saying this as I've had a few issues with Hermes before with lost deliveries and some of the vendors tried to fob me off by saying you need to take it up with Hermes which is absolute BS.
    Good luck.

I said the circumstances of each manager inheriting the squads they did is not important, what is important is that both managers inherited and oversaw playing squads mostly full of cack.
And in the final analysis Taylor, with the same player restrictions as Rooney, fared better than his counterpart.
So I don't buy this no other manager could do as well as Rooney line.

Just looked at the team that played the Greens in the Cup match….for me only Cherry, Bobby and Kevin Wilson would get in to the current Rams team….

Seem to remember Taylor having to throw on an ageing Dave Watson upfront in the Cup match v Plymouth….he didn’t have the luxury of an academy with the likes of Knight, Bird, Sibley, Festy and Buchanan at his disposal like Wazza has…..just a poor, ageing squad, many over the hill ?

I'm not even going to attempt to compare each player by player - as a comparison both squads were crap.
The generalisation is that no other manager could have done so well with the resources Rooney has at his disposal in playing staff, I'm merely comparing and contrasting to challenge this sacred cow.

Yeah I was thinking that, two ex England centre backs. I think Rooney has some better youngsters though. Also competition tougher now in the Championship than it was nearly 40 years ago.

There's massive synergies between the squad Rooney has available and the one Peter Taylor had - regardless of how the squads came about or were inherited by each respective manager.
Am sure Taylor inherited the club when we were bottom of the league and got us to mid table by the end of that season. Pretty certain as well that the income from the FA Cup run the following season helped stave off the club going into administration (ring any bells).

Rooney has managed for more games than everybody else below/around him. Obviously that record leads to a sacking generally...not saying he deserves that right now but some of the praise for him is OTT at times.

Agree,  you can add Bielik, do not know what wages he is on however he will be still unproven in January after his 2 major injuries and will he break down again before the end of season, hope not, doubt if any manager would consider him in January far too risky

We don’t need the minutes to come out, Wazza has told everyone what’s happening on the takeover in his press conference. Three bids in and preferred bidder announced by Christmas. DET follow up with they believe one of the bids is Kirchner.

Interesting that Peter Taylor is above Rooney in the standings, he had some real dross to manage from my recollection, EFL embargo or no embargo.
