I'd be happy to consider him as our next manager once our current manager has been given a shot with his own signings.
He took over with us bottom of the league and kept us up. Job done. Not bad for someone learning on the job.
You seem happy to quote Rooney stats but ignore Wilder stats? Dont remember Rooney having £25m to spend on a player either?

Yep the very same guy who relied on a system of overlapping centre backs but had nothing else to offer once other teams figured it out...well other than spending £25m on Rhian Brewster of course.
Suppose Andre Wisdom and Curtis Davies would fit his system nicely. 
Not certain Rooney is the man to take us forward but we've been there with Pearson with managers guaranteed to bring us success haven't we?

The fans stood outside the stadium that had gone to show their support.
And the fact that they had kept this club in the Championship and from going out of business if you believe half of the negative poo written on here.

The lads are not celebrating being 4th bottom, they have gone out to the fans who have been bothered to endure the weather to say thank you for the support.
If you don't want to celebrate your club managing to stay up, fine, Luckily most disagree. 
It's not been good enough from the top down, I agree but we've survived relegation by the skin of our teeth and EVERY SINGLE CLUB would be doing the same if they were in our position right now.
Do you really think Sheff wed players would have just walked off the pitch if they won?...NO, they'd have been running round like we were.

His family are wealthy wine producers with vineyards in the Rioja region (ie “old” money).
Also Simon Jordan cited EA as a “man of considerable means”. Whilst we might not embrace his pugnacious style, he is a relatively young man from a boxing culture. 
 
Who would like the Daily Mail poking their nose into private financial dealings and in a cynical way? Is there a public interest motive? Not really. It’s tabloid journalism really. 
 
Just re-dressing the balance ...jury still out. EA will look a proper Charlie if he can’t back up his words indeed but still too soon to call him out. 
 

I can't imagine the money brings him much comfort for his ill health but presumably as he has plenty left we shouldn't be happy that he put all that money in? 
Derby weren't exactly in a great state when he took over, and while I'm sure he could have done things differently if he had run the club as you suggest no doubt all those that claim he should 'put his hands in his pocket' and buy us players would have been even more out in force.
Did he hire the wrong managers, with hindsight yes, but at the time they all seemed like worthy appointments perhaps with the exception of Rooney although it very nearly worked to perfection with Lampard so why not think lightning might strike twice?
It's funny how time makes so many forget and look back with hindsight claiming that they knew this was coming.... 
Most fans were happy when we were throwing money around, now he should have been more prudent, you can't have it both ways 
Mel gambled, rightly or wrongly that we would get to the prem, it failed and now we are paying the price, but you know what, we've been relegated before, as have much bigger clubs than us that are now back on the prem, so while I wouldn't welcome it, and while it would obviously be financially impactful..... If it happens I will still support my club, my team.
 

Id be absolutely astounded if Wisdom went to a Premier League club.
His career has declined at an alarming rate. Lacks ability and concentration and seems to think the answer to every situation is a shoulder charge.
I fear after the season we have had our Crown jewels value will have taken a battering.
Think we should persevere with the youngsters and shed some more high earners.

Total guesswork but I would imagine the debt is with the Gellaw company that owns the ground and then this money was loaned to the club by Gellaw to cover cash flow and consequently reduced the £75m owed to the club. ONCE AGAIN I STRESS THIS IS PURE GUESSWORK, IS NOT BACKED UP BY ANY FACTUAL EVIDENCE! But it would seem the logical thing to do.
If this is how things have been structured, then Alonso (or what ever entity is purchasing the ground) would simply step into the shoes of the Gellaw company in owning the ground but also being responsible for the loans secured against it.

I don't think any media outlet should be applauded for publishing factually incorrect information.
They have not really forced the issue, they have forced someone to have to come out and defend themselves against their made up story, and in the meantime many fans have now decided this guy is a 'chancer' on the back of this story.

Nah, why would they do that, the hearsay and rumour mongering from that frequently wrong dirtrag is much more reputable than the guy actually coming on radio and talking about it and telling us what's happening....
I don't know why he bothered no one will believe him, it says volumes on here that the report comes out, the guy comes on to rubbish it and people moan that he is actually saying something and not keeping quiet cos 'thats what he said'
 

Im sure he wishes he had done.
Dont think anyone buys a football club with the intention of making money and it going tits up.
I can guarantee that alot of the people who, in hindsight, are slating him for throwing his money into the club will be calling for whoever the next owner is to do exactly the same.
