How lovely. Name one "repetitive little happy clapper who thinks good football is being served up by Warne". There isnt one. The only repetitive posters are those who will never say anything positive whatever PW's team does and say the same thing on just about every page of every thread. We could beat Man City 4-0 away in the FACup but they would say "its not their first team" or "its only the cup".
But there are those who have perhaps more realism regarding the position we are in and are bored rigid with the anti-PW constant negativity whatever the thread subject is supposed to be from certain posters. Everyone has the right to be boring and tedious as that is what the forum is for- for fans to say what they want, within reason.
I am not a happy clapper who thinks we can use admin as an excuse forever, I dont enjoy the football most of the time, I dont think PW is really a good fit at Derby and I think we could probably do better with someone else with these players at the moment BUT whilst he is the manager I will get behind him and the team, trudge across to all home matches, be deafened by the PA system, and enjoy a bit of a mutter on here.  That doesnt make me a repetitive little happy clapper who thinks good football is being served up.

Probably depends what the child was shouting and is up to the parent to parent their child as they wish as they have to deal with consequences of what is shouted at football in other instances.
You can use what lyrics you like B4 but you need to stop berating fans who dont like using certain words like the f word. I dont use that word ever in life (except odd times alone in car at Cambridge cyclists). But I am not a prude or a killjoy or someone who wants the stadium quiet or minds others using it.
I love the humour and passion of football fans - I would put it right up there as something that makes me proud to be a Brit. Nothing quite like hearing 21 points song or fight to the end THAT season but I chose to swap the f word. We've always had a "what you hear at football stays at football" with our boys and never had a problem. Loved exchanging cheeky smiles with my boys when they heard something "rude". Which means I actually love the Collymore song when many dont as will never forget look on my sons' faces when first heard it at full pelt.
But all this comes from comments that more may sing if not every chant is expletive laden. Some may never sing which I dont get but its their choice - they may have such turmoil and angst inside after watching us for years that they can no longer sing - who knows.
But please can you perhaps sometimes listen to others views on this esp where children are involved.

I really enjoyed today, so I am coming to the conclusion that the result is everything!
Can't put my finger on why, but the sun shone, the locals were lovely,  James Collins worked so hard and therefore deserved his two goals.
Saw lots of folks I knew, and also the players get off the bus and get back on the bus, they were honest and friendly. Whatever has happened for Vickers seems to have brought them together. I hope he's okay.
Good to see players improving their match fitness and I was pleased Carlisle had a good go at us because to come out of that with a clean sheet can only help with the defence's confidence. They all played well, particularly Nelson and Nyambe.  One smart Alec asked Joe after the match about the one that went through him and hit the bar and his response was "well, I saved it!"
Our fans were great and seemed to sing louder to keep the team going until Warne put some legs on to tip the game our way (you could have done it a bit earlier, though, Paul!)
Shout out of the day to the fan who came up the road after the game, grinning at us in our Derby shirts. I thought it strange as he had a Carlisle top on, but he lifted it up to reveal a Derby shirt underneath, saying it was the only way he could get it to the game! I do hope he posts on here because it was genius!

Yeah true but they quickly changed when they felt that they weren’t moving in the right direction until they struck gold with McKenna and then backed him. Lucky or brave? but my point was only that they played good football last year whereas the post I was replying to suggested they didn’t.

She doesn’t mind helping me celebrate though, which is where we are going now, in Carlisle.

Genuine question. Football might not be for you if you don't enjoy any of those things.

I'm not suggesting we kick anyone out but if you list most things around a matchday experience as being not for you, then is the matchday experience not for you?
Not you personally obviously, but for any person.
As for the poem it's about taking pride in our heritage, not living in the past.
I can't understand why people get on at Forest for celebrating their past achievements anyway.
I'm more interested in what we're doing.

Spirit in the sky has never caught on other than small pocket in south stand and is the dullest song i have ever heard at a football match as sung too low and too slowly - sounds like a few drunk old men at the end of a wedding slurring their words as they nod off - sorry!!!
We need more lively bangers that everyone can get easily and sing without needing a song sheet. Seems like we reserve good chants for loan players. always go on about it but Sammy Winnall's song was perfect - surely current player would fit it well. Same for osula - first time sang it at cambridge away last year and was brilliant. Everyone instantly got it.

Also why does every song we have have to have the f*** word in? People shouldnt moan about people not singing when that is the case. 21 points you could easily change it to sing "stuff" but I'm not a prude and sing loud but just will never yell the "f" word. Even the bounce which kids love  - why the "f" word?

Constant deafening PA system before match and half time doesnt help build anything gradually ahead of match. Poem, steve bloomer then we're expected to be singing our hearts out. There is nothing to make fans want to get to seats early (but we do as just like to be in there)

Also a totally personal peeve but when the announcer man bossily says to get behind the Rams always think what do you think I've given up a huge amount of money and my Saturday from 10.30 to 8 to do! Really annoys me
