Leeds Ram reacted to GboroRam in B4 - for ever a Ram 🐏
I called the ex once and told her I was on the train, and some random bloke at the bar shouted a loud "choo choo". That took me some time to get back from.

I'm honestly not sure how anyone could begrudge a massing of people on the pitch if we do go up. The club are saying what they need to say the same as any other club does. But it's a moment of ecstasy which almost every other club does if they achieve promotion. It's a fantastic moment (I still remember scampering onto the pitch during Southampton play off semi) and it will always linger in my head. Why would I want to deny a 13 year old their opportunity now?
Yes, of course, some cannot come onto the pitch. Ideally, the club gives us 10 minutes to bask in the warmth or rain and then is strict in getting us off the hallowed turf so they can come on and do the lap of honour in front of everyone.

Right, obviously not everyone will be happy with whatever happens so here’s a compromise. Assuming we get whatever is needed to get us promoted, at the final whistle the scoreboard clock is reset, the inevitable pitch invasion starts and you have 5 minutes exactly to get your instagram photos or whatever. Then a siren is sounded and the police dogs are unleashed to sort out anyone left on the pitch. Sorted.

I think after the past few years in which we very nearly went out of existence amongst other things, it must surely be hard to begrudge people celebrating this (pottential) great achievement by going way over the top.
You don't get pitch invations at places like Old Trafford or Anfield because they're used to success and take it for granted.
But for us, what have we had to celebrate? Other than the two promotions in the 80s when I was too young to remember, we've had Promotion in 1996 and Promotion in 2007. Great days by the way.
But that's it. I'm nearly 40 and should everything go the way we hope, this is the third big celebration in my life and the first since I was 21.
I'm going to forget myself, the boring law abiding citezen that I am and for one day and one day only I'm going to run as hard and fast onto that pitch and try and plant a big fat kiss on any one of this season's heroes, I will soak it all up with my fellow rams fans, then I'll head back to the stand and applaud the players, manager and staff before heading into town until god knows when.
I'm so excited, it genuinly feels exactly the same as creeping down the stairs on Christmas morning full of anticpation for what's behind the living room door.
So I'll behave, I won't be a thug, but I will forget my age and responsibilites for a day and enjoy feeling like a big kid on Christmas

I finished reading A Ladder to the Sky by John Boyne on Tuesday. Gore Vidal made a cameo in that.

When you think we were a week away from going under it does put everything else into perspective. I do think once David has moved on as chairman, so it is appropriate, that there should be considerations for a statue or at the very least a stand named after the man who saved us from oblivion. He'll be an excellent custodian of the club as he seems to have been thus far and we're really fortunate to have him as our owner.

I think this is a win win for us. Either they drop this season and all hell breaks loose or they are decimated this season and end up going down next season and be crippled in the championship.

The more I think about it the more confident I am we'll get it done. We looked so dominant against Leyton Orient and against Cambridge we did what was needed. I don't think we're gong to let this chance slip through our grasp.

It would have been nice if Peterborough had done us a bit of a favour and kept in the hunt but they'd obviously downed tools after Saturday. Never mind it's up to us all we need is a point after all!

Just so you know, it ain't cool to bear grudges. It ain't mature to swear in public. It ain't uplifting to dwell on previous negatives. It is not sagacious to disrespect the hierarchy.
But come Saturday, from 90:00 and throughout the additional minutes... with the resuscitated Rams on the verge of a new life... throw all that in the bin, and let's give 'em the rousiest, passionest, Black & Whitest, most heartfeltest rendition of "They docked us 21 points..." British football has ever... EVER... witnessed.
To hell with dignity! 🐏

I love how unengaged their fans are. How they have to explain to each other the scenarios for them to go up. One of them "thinks" they'll go up on goals scored if GD is level.
How are they gonna get their head round the playoffs?

I don't mind Burton. They're a small outfit and they have punched above their weight which is good to see. Unfortunately it looks like back down to league 2 for them. Hopefully they'll have a go and get out the division.
