Didn’t Warne say in his interview last night that his Wife had told him it was going round that he was signing a player from Reading and he said it was nonsense?

I hated them signing Carroll for another 6 months, getting 4 loans and changing their manager whilst under restriction that they purposefully broke just after we drew with them.  Meanwhile we lost a 40 yr old on 5 k a week and Shinnie who was sold to pay his wages killing off a revival of 10 points in 4 games.  I'll lose no sleep.   

Deserved to win that.
Listened to Radio Derby on way home and they’ve watched a different game where Burton deserved a draw.
Call me old fashioned but to score 3 they’d need at least 3 shots on target.
We had two iffy bits of defending and they had 2 excellent finishes. Other than that I thought Burton were one of the poorest teams we’ve played. 
The only slight negative is that we didn’t get the winner in the 97th minute. Couldn’t believe their plucky new manager moaning at the amount of time added on ……after he’d called a basketball style timeout with their mortally wounded number 3 a full 8 mm from the touch line.
Got what they deserved.

Steady performance all round with a dash of traditional flakiness thrown in. Well deserved win, but I really would love Callum Elder to show the form that made him a Championship player.  I thought he looked tentative still, and got owned for the equaliser. A run of games may be what he needs, but he won't get many more chances to step up. The Sibley sub was a clear warning. Come on Callum...believe!

Again playing in a 2 with someone who can't run versus a 3 man midfield again, who being on fresh legs when we don't, again. Broke up 5 or 6 attacks and barely a misplaced pass. Won more headers than he lost and only a booking worthy challenge stopped him surging through 3 or 4 players to create a 3 on 2.
Apart from that, passenger.     

After recent losses at home, we must applaud the players for digging in and grinding out a result. It would have been easy to let the capitulation v Peterborough and the non-appearance v Bradford take hold.
It is these games where you snatch joy from the ravenous mouth of despair that can make all the difference come the end of the season in building character and belief.
Add CBT to this team and keep Wildsmith, Collins, NML and the back four (with Nyambe and Forsyth) fit and firing, and you know what, we’ve got a chance.

1st off I don't think the ref was as bad as some thought, He let play go on where in the EPL you'd get a free kicks nothing major in his handling of the game.
As for the game...at 2-0 game done and dusted I got the impression the players also thought that, But another challenge went unpunished and they score, A breakaway and a slip put Hugil in and it's now 2-2, One of the best defences against one of the worst attacks...this is the DCFC we have got to know.
NML could have scored in the 1st half when shooting...rebound to Barks who misses, Collins miss cues at 2-2 when on another day it gets smashed into the net, At 3-2 NML clean through and miss controls the ball, So on another day 4 or 5 goals and we're storming the league, It was a little messy at 2-2 not awful messy...we never rushed or panicked just that the ball wouldn't fall for us.
We won, We got the 3 points we move onto Lincoln, No histrionics from me...only we have to show more composure when defending.

For some reason I can't fathom, seeing the cowboys get tonkef never loses it's appeal.
Maybe it's because they dubbed themselves "America's team" or some such nonsense.....

Anyone genuinely knowing in advance of a transfer or guessing, sharing it or not sharing it...doesn't make any difference to anything.
When we sign a player and OB's "welcome to Derby" bit appears on the official site, then we'll all know. An hour before that interview a potential signing can be at Moor Farm with a pen in his hand when we get gazumped...so we might as well all just relax.
Oh...and nobody know how much budget we have outside of Mr Clowes and his trusted circle. Speculating and criticising based on speculation is classless.

It’s really not. We’ve extended the contracts of NML, Cashin and Nyambe in the last couple of weeks, have more depth in the squad and are better placed in the league with more goals, more wins and more points than this time last year.
There’s still 19 days of the window left in which we may still strengthen further, do yourselves a favour and save the panicking until Feb 2nd 

I'd argue all the incomings offer more than Springett, White, Davies, Stearman and Chester gave us last season.   For all the tedious moaning about Bradley would people rather have Stearman as back up to Cashin and Nelson?  Think not.

As someone with virtually no interest in rugby (aside from if England go far in the world cup), I'm surprised to learn about the eligbility rules for England selection. What a load of crap that seems to be!
