Rumours that Birmingham are going to sack Eustace and get Rooney in to replace him, which would be a very strange decision seeing as they're currently 6th in the league.
-
The only other team Cheltenham managed to get points against are currently top of the league, so clearly we're on the right track
-
Outside of the league, they've only scored one goal all season. It was an own goal. 13 games into the season and their top scorer is Bristol Rovers' right-back.

Some refereeing luck again to not give at least one penalty away today.
Probably have 4 points more than they deserve at home already, luckily for Cooper otherwise the big fat Greek might be twitching
Funnily enough, Darren England, the VAR in the Spurs/Liverpool game, was supposed to be on this one and was replaced. Good to see some solidarity in the refereeing community, at least.

Also lucky for the refs otherwise the big fat Greek might be doing some other things as well

That was some run by the teenager Koliosho for the goal. From Espanyol B side. He’s rapid
That lad's had a weird international career thus far. Started with the USA U15s, then got called up but was uncapped by the full Canadian national team, before moving to Italy's U19s and U20s.

I've seen a few articles from "back in the day" popping up again in light of the allegations, but I thought this was an especially interesting article. Certainly corroborates the idea that he's particularly litigious when it comes to these allegations, and may explain why these allegations have come out in the media before the legal system:

Watford another with three: Tom Ince, Ben Hamer, Jake Livermore

Rangers have a few up there as well - Tom Lawrence, Jack Butland and Kieran Dowell

Palace have 4 if you include Plange: Hughes, Ebiowie and Plange are the obvious ones, but James Tomkins was on loan here for about a month 15 years ago. I have no idea why I remember that

If you need some help guessing, here are the current free agents last at Premier League and Championship clubs respectively:

The Origi signing takes them to 40 different senior players having joined them in the last three windows. That seems excessive.
EDIT: Literally as soon as I posted this, they signed another one

They've had Spurs pants down last few years £67m for Johnson and Spence 🤣
They signed him from Boro, but if Forest keep signing like they are doing, they might need to try and include it in their FFP returns anyway.
-
Also, apparently Hudson-Odoi was the player on Chelsea's books with the most goals for them, with only 16, which sounds like it shouldn't be true.

If they can get him up and running then that £45m for Johnson will be phenomenal business for them as that's a hell of a lot of money for him, one that Spurs may come to regret.
Has to be said, Spurs have had a pretty shoddy track record for spending relatively large sums on young British signings in recent years. Ryan Sessegnon for £25m, Djed Spence for £20m, Jack Clarke for £10m, and arguably Joe Rodon for £11m all seem like poor investments in retrospect.

Looks like he’s getting his own back from the spat in March. Nice to see the gumps getting a bit of similar medicine to us last year.
To be honest, if Spurs do spend £50m on him, it'll be Forest that are laughing. I don't think Johnson's a bad player, but you'd have to be insane to even contemplate paying £50m for him.

Interesting sponsorship announcement from Forest today - a sports betting company that doesn't have a functioning website.
Nothing dodgy about that, obviously. No doubt the big Greek's ''shipping'' business has large ties in Asia so it's one that makes sense.
And quotes from a CMO that doesn't exist:
You would never see us getting tricked into making deals with parties that aren't what they claim to be.

Really pleased for him. I think that will make him the first Sierra Leone player to have played for us, right? I think Fornah is also eligible for them, though.
