They made one when their player tried to break Smiths leg.
We are talking about mistakes that lead to goals, not mistimed tackles.

That's b******* mate, they have been unimpressive for a supposed top two team and have only scored because of a fluke pass.
This should been been a draw all day long.
We watching the same game? Based on overall play, Ipswich have been the better side, tried to build, and play some decent footie. We are just blindly hoofing it. As of so far, Ipswich have made NO mistakes, we have made ONE, hence why they deserve to be in front.

Ipswich don't deserve 3 points out this,we have held them all game but let down by a stupid unnecessary moment.
They deserve it more than we do. At least they try and play football. We can't string 3 passes together without resorting to hoof-ball. I am all for getting the ball forwards quickly, just not hoofing it blindly at the first opportunity.

I'm sorry, but Davies is fu*ked. The season too much for him I feel. Getting found out in a more physical league.

Average so far. Too many hopefull punts forwards that results in the loss of the ball. Barkz having a stinker, needs to be subbed. Sibbo faded as the half has gone on. Cash and NML the bright sparks. Hoping for better in the second half (not sure we are gonna get it).

Hes been f****** terrible so far , with golden balls sibley not far behind him
He isn't a LWB though is he? Plus he is right footed. So it's hard to see how he can be any good playing in his current position.

What a tackle by NML....

Who thought any different
yes theyre is some “household” names for those familiar with the championship but they we’re players where wagers and agents fees we’re rock bottom and non existent
we got what we could and did well in that respect
doesnt mean theyre any good still .. if better options had presented themselves to their agents they wouldnt have been with us
I think you will find quite a few posters have been saying that the players we have are too good for this league...
-
Well that was great. Anyone thinking we have a squad too good for this league should think again. If we can't beat teams like PV, the squad and the club will be in L1 still come the end of the season.

We’ve got one of the best squads in the league! Players far too good for this level.
Doesn't look like it because we can't even beat PV, and they are shiiite. I get the feeling than some people think the squad is better than it is.

PW talked a lot about trust, and once you lose it, it's hard to earn back. This should apply to Collins, his moment of insanity has put is in an awkward position (combined with the lack of any sense of collective discipline). He should not start again until he earns it back. Let the manager and team down badly.

Good, divine justice. Barkz may stick a leg out, but there is NO contact whatsoever. Incompetent CNUTS.

I think lr will proof derby wrong, as he will be a manager at another club.
Will be interesting to see if that happens, in my opinion hes done the best he could, with a team of free agents.
Free agent by definition means, a player another team doesn't want, often through by being older players or simply not good enough. If you have a transfer budget, is your team, largely staffed with free agents.
Lr brought in some quality free agents, who under his leadership, have largely worked out. They've bonded as a team in record time.
Warnes had a transfer budget at Rotherham, I think a decent size transfer budget?
Okay.... I think you will find a free agent is a player who either has chosen to run down his contract in order to have a new challenge elsewhere, or a player who's contract the club doesn't want to renew. When the said player is a free agent, it hardly means that nobody wants him. Just look a Hourihane, a free agent yet there were a host of clubs vying for his signature.

Didn't LR recruit most of the players we have? I think recruitment under WR and then LR has been good considering, so I hope we can carry that on. If LR leaves who will we have on the recruitment team?
Also a continuity problem if a lot of players were LR's men and they don't gel with Warne. We had that before with MM's revolving door, but now we haven't got the budget to keep misfits in the reserves. All this is if's and but's. We have no clue if they will adapt to Warne's style of play, nor do we know what Warne's style of play will be. Maybe what he implemented at Rotherham was down to the ressources he had available to him, no one really knows apart from the man himself.
What is certain, this bloke has got 3 promotions from L1 quite a few as Champions. I for one am prepared to give him a go.

Yes Conor!
Love some of the earlier comments about taking him off. The guy is like Lawrence, frustrating but can change a game with a single kick
Again, I don't think it's a coincidence, Bird goes off, and all of a suddenly Hourihane wakes up. They can't play together, either one or the other and today's game confirms that.

We may have been crap tonight, but Wildsmith is one hell of a keeper. We are lucky to have him. Great signing.
