This season has been a season like no other so it’s very hard to judge a manager at a club like Derby with both hands tied behind your back - massively reducing wage bill - no crowds - no income essentially - and an owner wanting to let go after sinking £200 million of his own money in ( it seems no one else wants to use their own money) 
I would like to see what Rooney could do with some help financially to recruit and build a team not just filling a team sheet with scraps

I cant stress this enough im not a rooney fan all the off field stuff he has got up to and being sent off and hoodwinked by ronaldo shows what nouse he has upstairs . 
But im not one for not giving someone a fair crack of the whip to change my mind .
FA Coaching badges dont make me laugh , to much is pointed at this , christ he has seen it all done it all at the top of the game you telling me he doesnt know how to put a trwm together and tactics going to get his badges wont change a thing . Its like being employed to do a job for 10 years then suddenly being told you dont know what your doing, or how to do it unless you have that piece of paper all of a sudden its laughable . 
The bloke has had no money he has had no bloody strikers and he has had to rely on youngsters who are promising and not ready for a game every single saturday esp in high pressure situation .
Im not a rooney fan but to be fair to him he deserves half a season with cash to buy players and reshape HIS squad before the axe should fall , then and only then he will have no excuses .
We wont be going up next year anyway anyone with half a brain knows this as we will have a points deduction .

Great result last night for Derby.
Its not over though as Derby need to simply play better and some of these players need to show more fight for the cause. 
 
They need to play for the shirt .
Players should be proud when they pull on Derby County’s shirt on match days. 

I really dont get why fans are optimistic , rotherham are down forget them  .its sheffield that's the problem , they will best forest and we all know why.......I mean come on really .........you expect forest to play out there skins really as sheff wed will really come at them . Saturday has to be our cup final. Anything less than a win isn’t good enough. We win Saturday then we stay up. We shouldn’t even be considering giving Wednesday a sniff on the last day against us. We’ve seen how we play in games against the teams at the bottom of the league.
I actually think that we will get nothing and Wednesday will get at least a point against Forest. But this is our last life line now...we’re like a cat with 9 lives and this is the last one.

What exaggeration ? All he said was that he has spoken to them which Cardiff confirmed. He made no other claim , never said he even entered into meaningful discussions .

I really dont understand all the negativity at all . This to me seems like a dream deal and I for one am pretty excited about it . It seems like some Derby fans are unable to let go if being wellllllll down right bloody miserable and think of the likes of Norwich and Bournemouth and brentford as big clubs . This could well be the chance of bringing in someone young full of cockiness and bouncing us up to the premier where we do actually belong . I remember another young cocky bloke his name was Brian clough .
