Very sad. Josh hasn't been called upon to play for first team much so far, but he has made himself available, which is incredible really as I understand this has been a long battle that he has had to see his wife go through sadly lost this week. Condolences to his family.

Very sad news for Josh and his family, the support from his colleagues will be needed at a difficult time like this, sometimes there’s more to life than football. 😔

The guy involved in Sandy Hook aftermath is Alex Jones. As I say I don't think any of that has much tod do with Brand's sexual antics apart from the fact he was sacked off from the BBC as long ago as 2008 and has had to resort to social media to make money.

A government body spokesman seems to be involved.  My point from the beginning of this discussion is we cannot handle certain criminal cases outside the law, we must find room within the existing system to handle all cases fairly for all sides.  No one should be deemed guilty of any crime without having their day in court.  Innocent until proven guilty is an idea worth defending in my view.
A few years ago I was drugged and then sexually assaulted in the most brutal manner.  I did not go to the police, or to a doctor to ascertain my physical state and because of that mistake I have no right to call out the perpetrator on some media outlet as a rapist, even if that is what he surely is.  My wife and my sister know his identity, he knows what he did and I was left to pick up the pieces and try and pull myself together again using the tools at my disposal, help groups and counseling.  I admit, I was afraid of going the legal way, the guy terrifies me, the system intimidates me and I wish that I had options of a more supporting way of coming forward for my good and his, so that he never will do such a thing again.  He was drunk and afterward very sorry, but I plucked up the courage to tell him to never do  such a thing to anyone else ever again, whatever good that did.

The chances of a guilty verdict are not made close to nil by the passage of time .. Rolf Harris and Stuart Hall were both convicted ages after their offences. 
 
If he avoids jail his career is not over as there are plenty of people who are brainwashed or whatever who will follow him regardless of or perhaps because of his reputation . He will be like Andrew Tate. 

Try as I might, I can’t disagree with any of this. The noughties weren’t really that naughty were they not compared to the 1980s.

My opinion on Brand for what it's worth is that he took his content in a very specific direction, which was seemingly at odds with his character at any time prior, in an effort to craft a very convenient narrative that he's on the receiving and of an establishment/media stitch up.
He has been using legal threats to stop these allegations from coming out, but he isn't an idiot and knew that would only work for so long. With that in mind, he created a persona and a body of content that very conveniently gives him not only a story to counter the allegations with, but with a means of income once his mainstream career is impacted by said allegations.
Any notion that Brand and his clickbait YouTube ramblings are a threat to the established order and that being the reason for these allegations coming out now is so laughable as to not even be entertained in my mind.

There were plenty of free kicks given for no reason. And once when Waggy was fouled but she gave a free kick to Pompey. Not sure about a couple of penalty shouts we had.. was it Washington in the box, and a possible handball from a Sibley shot I would like to see again. Plus their goal was offside as well as following on from a handball.  But again you can blame the lino for those blunders maybe.

Maybe they want to bring a civil action where the burden of proof is only on balance of probabilities , rather than criminal charge where it has to be beyond reasonable doubt.
