Barkhuizen and Laing will be off in January as they can't play this formation effectively.  At the minute Barkhuizen is playing with the wrong foot in a position he openly stated he didn't like playing for Preston when he came here.  Laing is an out and out winger .  His effectiveness has notably dropped playing this formation, where he's advancing over the half way line rather than starting further forward.  
 

No because if it's deemed the refs mistake wasn't obvious he'll be banned for 4 games.  If you appeal and we don't like it  we penalise you more.  Sounds like the EFL and why crap refs keep plying their trade.

Interesting reading on their forum amongst the normal delusions of Stonewall penalties and definite reds.  If this lot doesn't convince you we were robbed nothing will.

It was a disgraceful performance. Thats why I called it cheating, it wasn't just incompetence out there, he was blatantly giving fouls against those who'd been fouled.
 

The chance to keep reffing in this league without another complaint from Port Vale ?  I'd suggest we put in a complaint.  Might bring the players chocolates and flowers next time he comes here.

Looking at the red card, I’m not sure how the ref can make the decision as it’s not even obvious on the replays.
It was all kinda odd because it felt like he was going off reactions. Ie, if a player goes down off a push then it’s a free kick if they stand up then it’s not. I’m sure he wasn’t but that’s how it come across to me in the stands.
We are very naive about the ‘dark arts’ side of the game unfortunately, have been for a long while. We know what the standard of refereeing is, unfortunately we need to play on it more the than we do

Why didn't their nr 22 get a second yellow for a studs-up challenge shortly after Collins was sent off? 
Regardless of whether the penos and sending off were correct decisions, why was this ref given this game after Port Vale had a complaint against him upheld? The optics stink.

I'd give Eddie Lewis a bit of a pass.  Not his fault we offered him premier league games at 30 after  a year in League 1 and he at least looked bothered.  Lets not forget all the crap like Fagan, McEverly and Teale we sent wads on a few months before.  We kept them and got rid of Jones and Oakley who could play.
