ViewsFromTheMiddle reacted to Wolfie in Random stuff that people do that annoy me
Facebook is full of those "Cut & paste & tag loads of people" things at the moment. Drives me nuts.
I've been nominated for loads of stuff, going back years to the ice bucket challenge. Never joined in and never will. You'd think people tagging me would take the hint by now.

Joined the queue at a very busy KFC in Chesterfield, waited a aeon to order my mighty bucket & gravy. The faceless voice from the box said "No gravy on today duck".
Like it was nothing.

My sister’s got a border terrier Squid, right little characters, sorry for your loss mate, the only negative in a lifetime of positives. He’ll always be in your thoughts, I dreamt about Remy my Old English Sheepdog about a fortnight ago, we lost him about 20 years ago. It was a nice dream, we were big buddies.
I tell myself I’ll meet up with all my dogs when I kick it, I know I’m kidding myself really but it brings me comfort when I’m grieving the loss of a much loved pal.
All the best at a lousy time mate. ?

poor guy, we still have 2 dogs, neither of them are showing any signs at all of missing their leader.... none at all, I haven't seen them look for him or be bothered in the slightest....and they say dogs are loyal.! ha ha
For the first time this morning as I was bringing Mrs Muespach a cup of coffee in bed I saw the missing dogs bed there and was surprised he wasn't on it...… so sad.

For 2020 my goal is to be less condescending to people.
Condescending means to talk down to someone.

If Mucker doesn’t want it I will take it off your hands. I am also willing to take one for the team and eat and drink myself silly until it fits. You don’t have to chip in for the tarka daal, cheese and garlic naan and cobra but you can if you want.

ViewsFromTheMiddle reacted to Alph in Depression, anxiety, stress and other related issues
People fall out of love, parents fall out with their sons and daughters and siblings can end up enemies.
But it seems no matter what you say or do to a dog it forgives you and you're it's whole world.
Losing a dog is heartbreaking. There's many many people I'd miss less than mine.
Sorry about your dog @Ramslad1992.
Mine went blind over one weekend and then when she went to the vets they said she was so ill that trying to fix her would be cruel and expensive. Although I'd have paid it. But they said she isn't coping well with being blind because her senses should be guiding her around the house and she just lay in her corner. No food or drink unless brought to her. Had to drag her out to the toilet and she was 50+Kg.
Slept on her bed with her the night before they put her down. My missus still cries about her now and this was also 4 years ago
But that dog was there for our first house, first baby, first argument... everything. She got off before this ride stopped!! Cried like a baby in the vets.
We bought another Bullmastiff soon after and I think I was a bit of an arse to him. He was supposed to replace my old one but he was nothing like her. She was timid and cuddly and he was playful and always on the move.
Now he's my best friend. I don't tell him that though. I tell him he's fat and useless. But he's alright for a dog.
And I reckon if my 5 year old cried from a mile away he'd hear it. He loves her and she only ever criticises his personal hygiene.
