Sounds exactly like the Dad's Army Rooney has at his disposal.
if we had a bobby davison now,we would not be in the relegation fight

will including cashin and co in the squad hamper us in january with squad size, trying to bring in a striker

Exactly my point
were a side with no recognised striker available
no surprise were struggling to create
we knew this when cocu came, the answer was an old journeyman, who gave it his best but its now beyond him

if we started div 1 today how we payed today we would have got murdered,i'm sure there are better teams than bristol down there

dreadfull from management and players, gave a poor side nothing to do,easy 3 points.wheres the quick flowing football of two weeks ago gone

how long are they being allowed to clean the ball for throw ins

this negative backwards and sideways crap is just playing into opponents hands,if our management cant come up with another system we are well and truly fooked

Kazim Richards is a striker
as i said we dont have any strikers at the club,i'm afraid ckr's day is done.stretton may be a threat once fit,but not the 15-20 goal striker to get us out of this mess
-
plenty of effort, but we never laid a glove on them after our goal.we have nothing up front, its the lack of a striker that will kill us

Is there? I don’t think I’ve met one.
the people i am talking about are not supporters of either club, they go where the free/cheap tickets are.back in the late seventies my mates son in law worked for trent buses,he had the choice of complimentary tickets for both clubs, home and away, this still goes on for people in the know, this accounts for a lot of the shift in numbers

Hate to say it but Forest averaging 24k and 17th in the league is bloody impressive. Points deduction away we're not having a wildly different season.
i think you find after last seasons turgid football, our lost support is the gumps gain.there has always been a floating amount of people who go to watch football with no allegiance to either club

A new start with a realistic chance of challenging for the top 6 it could be a more enjoyable season than some fear
thats the thing, dont we have to agree a business plan with the efl.any plan the efl come up with will be an embargo in all but name, meaning, other than a miricle, we exist but with no realistic chance of being the club we were.

The only way that is going to happen is if we're able to sign a striker, which i very much doubt we'll be able to do.
If we get this second points deduction we definitely wont and i'd rather get it this season rather than start next year with a points deduction as well.
sooner start next season in the champ, points deduction or not, than start on the road to oblivion aka sunderland, ipswich and the likes,in league one.its a long way back that wont come straight away, without a lot of luck, that has sadly been missing for a while now

refs losing this

according to rams tv roos never got any game time under rowet,he got something right.dreadful defending again from byrne, and no keeper has cost us a well deserved lead

I sort of agree, but it's a big ask. What about the others stepping up? We played at an awfully slow treacle pace tonight, made Festy look like Billy Whizz. Not sure CKR is the answer and Knighty looked 'unfit'. Had enough of the end product we get from Lawrence too.
we get slower by the game, ageing defenders and no quality up front,it will only get worse as the games pile on.no morrisson saturday hrough suspension, lawrence must be close, ebosele will have to play due to lack of numbers

just hate playing teams on a bad run, they all look for our fixture to end it,and we duly oblige
