I think Thompson has been playing slightly worse each game for the last half dozen games. Not really badly but a little bit worse each time. The last 2 games show he needs a break,  If Shinnie was still here I think he would have started the last two.  Now we will have to wait till Bielik is ready to start a game.
He has become too negative on the ball. Just passing sideways and backwards taking us into possession cul de sacs. When Bielik can start, Boro? he will be able to come off the bench for him and may some confidence from having more space.  

@David, I seriously think it's worth putting some kind of trigger warning on the original post. I know that kind of thing is seen as 'woke', but that voice recording could seriously mess with people if they've had similar experiences to the woman. Just a thought.

From the top of the flyover there looked to be more than at Trumps inauguration which apparently was a record attendance so I am going for a conservative estimate of 150,000?

I'd say 10-12000 people in total. On Pride Park it took over 15 mins to pass me on a very wide road

I’m mixed on Lampard. He’s clearly a smart guy and extremely likable. I can see how he could bring a dressing room together and create positivity. But I don’t really rate him as a coach.
I thought any competent manager would have got our 18/19 side to the playoffs. I mean our biggest competitors that season for a top six spot was Bristol City and Boro who were both pretty crap.
Our form when Mason Mount was out injured was worrying too. 
Then at Chelsea you can see the difference Tuchel has made with the same players. Lampard’s teams are so open, they concede so many soft goals. Tactically naive.
I don’t know what Everton are thinking based on Lampard’s CV so far. Somebody like Graham Potter would be a far better choice if they want a young manager to build with.
