I seriously doubt that if the main money man was someone worth $15.8bn (£11.8bn) the situation would have dragged on like it has.
He could blow any other bidder out of the water completely, barely even thinking about the pocket change required to buy us.

Apparently they didn’t promise but just hoped which is different I suppose.
