Not sure this is so much the managers fault, when the players can’t put 3 forward passes together. Some awful performances so far.  

Second half much better than first. Well done Warne and the lads. 40 game unbeaten run incoming.

Collins will get the plaudits but Forsyth has been man of the match for me. Immense going forward today, which isn’t something I would usually associate with him.

I don’t think we’ve looked great, but Barnsley are one of the better teams in this league. Wouldn’t say Warneball is flying but we’re winning and that’s all that matters

Mind boggling call from the referee - that’s never a penalty. But who cares. COYR!

Clowes isn’t sacking him so best get used to this for at least the rest of the season.

If this form continues in the coming weeks, can we repurpose the old Gary Teale song for Warne?

Yes, nice to see us put them to the sword like this. Should be a more frequent occurrence given our squad, but this is a step in the right direction.

Massive caveat - these are an absolutely horrendous side. Can’t remember a team this bad at pride park in some time.

They can publicly back him all they want but if things do carry on as is, attendances will be dropping and “get out of our club” or “your football is sh*t” chants will be more frequent from those that do turn up. That would eventually make his position untenable and might even prompt him to walk (not that it’s always a good thing for fans to act like that).

It’s got to be about time for Brown to get a go considering how pants the rest of our strike force has been. Warne won’t do it mind. 
 

I suspect we will win this one - anything less and things will get ugly. The fixture list could actually do Warne some favours with two inconsequential cup games after tonight, followed by a tough test against Barnsley. Reading away on Nov 18 might be the next time pressure is really turned up again. 

I want him gone but don’t think Clowes will get rid any time soon.

This is horrific to watch. 

Perfectly legal goal disallowed there. 

Would be happy with any of Eustace, McClaren, Wilder, Rowett, Warnock. All very different, but doesn't matter as Warne isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

I hope to see the above, although I suspect Bird will start in the advanced midfield slot with Smith/Hourihane next to Fornah. Sibley will be shunted to the wing again and dropped thereafter until the next cup game.

I would throw Sibley on for Waghorn. It’s calling out for someone to take a man on and shoot.
