Both Collins and McGoldrick really off it today
-
Dobbin’s miss was criminal but he created both those goals. Brilliant from him.

Actually don’t think the refs in this league are much worse than champ but Christ that was diabolical.
-
He’s changed shape? Hallelujah

Not make or break by a long stretch but a big 45 mins for Warne now. Let’s see if he can tinker that bag of s*** into something competent and get a win here.

Im Inclined to agree that perhaps the players we had we’re more suited to LR style than PWs however i dont think we we’re going anywhere with LR football.
too easy to play against and counter
Not that we got much of a chance to see where it would go
-
I’m obviously not calling for Warne to go but I’d be lying if I said it wouldn’t cheer me up if Clowes went back to Rosenier with his cap in hand.
The difference between the two is that if we drew/lost under LR, there was a genuine impression we made chances and the team was going somewhere. Even if we win tonight it feels as if we’ll just be papering over the cracks of a dysfunctional team/system.
Attendances and intrigue in Derby will drop off a cliff if this lasts much longer. Can’t expect people to pay good money to watch this drivel.

Its what cocu did… and rosenior after him.
we didnt have the players to play tippy tappy stuff and currently we dont have the players to play a high octane up and at them style
if only there was a happy medium lol
I felt that we did/do have the players for Rosenier’s style this year, which is the issue now.

I do find it slightly concerning how Warne doesn’t feel he can play a formation suiting our squad whilst also implementing his style, all managers should be able to use different formations.
McGoldrick on for Chester and he’s moved Sibley to left wing back. This is what I’m talking about
-
I hope Warne does manage to get going and obviously we could easily win this. But I do feel like his style has suddenly sapped a lot of the good vibes around the club. We’re a truly dire watch at times at the moment.
Obviously this isn’t his squad, players like Roberts playing completely out of position and it really shows. But perhaps changing style mid season wasn’t the wisest move - I guess we’ll find out. I do find it slightly concerning how Warne doesn’t feel he can play a formation suiting our squad whilst also implementing his style, all managers should be able to use different formations.

This has been an awful watch and we’re mostly to blame. I do expect a lot more from this squad

This could be a very very embarrassing thumping. And who said expansive football can’t work against league one teams?

Only applies if the Ref knows the rules which at this level they clearly don't.
Viva la poo refs (for this week at least)

What angle did you have on the Bird one? Are you flying a drone over there? Didn't look like one at all to me (but then I thought the first one last week was a pen until I saw the replay...)
Believe it or not I’m not in a spacecraft above the wham stadium

He tried to get the ball ..was a foul so pen but not double jeopardy..
Thought the ball was too far away to count as an attempt at getting it. I Only saw it live so maybe a replay will change my mind, but think a proper ref sends him off
-
That is objectively hilarious.
Both were pens and for what it’s worth, double jeopardy rule is only enforced when the player fouling makes an attempt to play the ball (hence why Tomori got his red in the CL and why Davies should have been sent off).
But who cares. Up the rams and up the Osula.
(shambles by us at the back, slightly concerning)
-
Completely lost any rhythm after the red. Possibly a symptom of Warne only having a week or so with the players, but they look absolutely clueless
-
-
Sending off and second pen were correct, but Christ this ref has been awful. That Stearman ‘foul’ might’ve been the worse refereeing decision I’ve ever seen.

Why, what happened?
Was in a tussle on the ground, went to punch the ground in frustration and purposely caught the player below him too.
-
That’s moronic from Collins. Knew exactly what he was doing.
-
Horror mistake from their defender but it doesn’t happen without the lump forward and Collins chasing down, neither of which would have happened under Rosenier…
