1969 Derby 5 Spurs 0 Record attendance at BBG, In Ossie End at the back on the ledge.( to compensate for my short 8 year old legs!!!).
Spurs with Greaves, Mullery, Jennings Mike Engalnd, Alan Gilzean and the late great Cyril Knowles didn't get a sniff.(nice one Cyril!!!)

Still having a club considering how worried we all were 18 months ago.
For some people that's the most important thing, I started going with my dad and grandad, when my grandad died it was just me and my dad, before I was born my dad used to go with my grandad, now my dad is no longer with us and my daughter comes sometimes, when you're board at half time waiting for the second half and you think about the good times your family have had at the club, it kind of puts it into perspective.
For me still having a club to support, carrying on the family tradition of supporting Derby, hoping my grand-kids will also continue it - is more important than winning promotion. (don't get me wrong I would love to get promoted)

Burnley early 1974 at Home, Stood in Ossie end (usual spot) I think Leighton James scored a goal for Burnley

Not really buying into the typology that separates instinct and intelligence.   Does a defender read danger because of instinct or intelligence - perhaps one is innate and one the ability to learn but the end result is the same thing - ending up in the right place at the right time - position specific game understanding.

I think Fozzy has maybe the best in this squad at that right now.   He's reached a point in his career where he just understands the game and is playing as well as he ever has. If you listen to Barkhuizen after Notts County also helping control the man ahead of him too.

There’s some talk on Twitter/X that Reading may not be too far from administration. It’s no real surprise if they’re giving us their stuff to flog. I assume we’d keep the profits.

DeForestation. I'm rubbish at years so I'll leave that for someone else. My memories, I missed most of the first half because I hadn't realised that it kicked off earlier than normal because of Sky 😫😫😫😫

Warne is not going anywhere anytime soon, that is factual, wanting him out will not get him out, so what is the point then?  To moan for the sake of it?  Does that help the team?  Oh I see, it is not about helping the team it is about freedom of a useless opinion.  The practical viewpoint is to support the team and it's leadership to get out of this division.

Reading the negatives on here and elsewhere I get the feeling that most of the moaners don't understand that, each and every game, there's 11 other players on the pitch doing their level best to frustrate us and to defeat us. Failure to win is always seen as a failure when it's just as likely to be down to the oppo XI doing their job well.
Take Cheltenham as an example. 6 good stops by their keeper and 2 goal line blocks by defenders. They managed just 2 shots on target, one of which was gifted to them by us. We managed to create chances. Some we missed the target but their keeper and back 4 also played well. Do people not see that?
Look at Citeh when they went to Wolves. 68% possession. 23 shots to 3. 8 shots on target versus 1 from Wolves. Wolves won 2-1. How many thousand of bets, including my 10 game accy that would have paid out just over a grand, went south because of that result.
The vitriol is, IMO, over the top and unnecessary.

I'm hardly reading the Derby section of the board at the moment - so sick of the bickering, pettiness and in-grained opinions. Most have already made their minds up and just want to reinforce their opinions by repeating the same old crap over and over again.....
We have a League One squad and a League One manager - bitching isn't going to change that....

Properly get pelters for this as 80% seem to have made their mind up over Warne, but anyone else just had enough with the constant negativity towards the players and staff? It’s relentless.
Even after last nights win I’m seeing people try and twist it negatively, overall last night we played faster tempo had chances and won end off, so why the negativity?
Warnes come out and said last night about blocking outside noise out, really think knocking them will help? It’ll only make it worse, 5 in 11 for Collins decent return, what’s booing him and giving him stick going to do? Why can’t we get behind them? We’re in league 1 we won’t have world beaters that will do everything so perfectly.

1 defeat in 10 due to some terrible refereeing it’s not anywhere near as bad as people are making out, it’s as if we’ve won 1 in 10.
I can be as negative as anyone and as annoyed as anyone when we drop points etc but it’s the bigger picture move on we go again, It’s not an easy league like people expect, Sunderland sheff united Ipswich Bolton etc all got stuck for time, and probably only Bolton started in a worse rebuild situation as us…
it’s absolutely draining all the constant ‘get him gone’ ‘whose next’ ‘he’s just a P.E teacher’ I’ve missed 1 away game and 1 home and it’s honestly making me not want to go, Blackpool people singing ‘warne your football is sh*t’ then 5 minutes later singing his name, honestly think if people stop over reacting and seemingly wanting Warne to fail we could get out of this league this year. Rant over roll on the draining stick that’ll come…
