GB SPORTS reacted to Tamworthram in Derby County Administration (with the slight possibility of Liquidation still there)
To be honest, I only look at other fans forums if we have just beaten them (so, not often ?).
I think, if you’re not careful, you can interpret too much from reading such forums. The comments you see may not represent the majority view or even the true views of those posting. For example, I’m sure we’d all have a laugh and say it serves them right if Forest were in our predicament but, deep down, many of us (me included) would be sorry to see a club in such a mess.

From what I've read, what Stoke have done is a massive amortisation dump - throwing a huge (£80m?) player value write down into one year and claiming it as a COVID-related (and therefore outside of P&S limits) revaluation. That will then allow them to record reduced amortisation losses in later years - and higher profits if players are sold - leaving them with more head room for the sir seasonal P&S returns.
Is that really OK?

Pretty much as Ambitious said. It benefits other clubs if we go out of business, particularly Wycombe, who might be the beneficiary of an extra promotion place this season, or even believe they can lobby to take our place. Many will fancy picking our squad and Academy clean free of charge. Gibson will be able to get an erection again without the little blue pill. Did you ever hear of one football club coming to the aid of another? Anyone who talks about "the football family" is on the same page as those who believe in unicorns.

Threads like this and the Earnshaw one really aren't worth anyone's time. Who cares. We've got far more important things to put our energies into.

It's a rather strange outburst and odd take on things IMHO. Take it into any other workplace and make Rooney a Head of Department or whatever and the MD won't answer your calls or emails or give you any heads up about a looming financial crisis and then just announces Administration without even telling you before eventually deciding to speak to people ? I'd be seriously unimpressed with that.
I do however think we just need to get his settled hopefully amicably before anyone starts any war of words that might impact deals to be done. We need everyone to play their part including MM. A time for cool heads I feel.

If a potential investor was put off by that comment, they were never serious in the first place.

I disagree. This season is far from done. The outcome inevitably will be relegation but it allows us @ 10 months to prepare for next season. We can offload players we don’t want or can’t afford. Blood players who will be needed next year and scout players who will be great in league one. We can build momentum and togetherness amongst fans and staff alike and hit league one with all guns blazing!!! This is probably the most important period in our recent history, far, far from done

I like the fact that the Supporters Trust asked what they could do and the administrators told them what we all knew 3 days ago. Useless.

He has invested a fortune.
No doubt about it Mel Morris put his money where his mouth is and backed Derby to make the Premier League
Going into admin doesn't change that. Neither does the fact he spent huge amounts of his own money on Derby change the fact that we are now in administration and suffering because of his management
As often is the case in the real world people aren't always angels or demons.
People have to be mature enough to judge people as they see them and not get caught up in any hysteria. Don't start doing stupid things.
