But it makes sense to only select a preferred bidder that the EFL will be 'happy' with - it would waste even more time if they picked someone who the EFL deemed to be unfit and they had to restart the process...and as has been suggested by others, the EFL has to agree the business plan when we come out of admin - the admins and preferred bidder have probably been trying to thrash somehting out that they expect the EFL to agree to. The more open they are with the EFL and the more they can agree up front, the smoother the purchase and exit from admin....

I watched it to the point where most of the characters were annoying and then gave up. A few decent bits along the way, but a missed opportunity by trying to turn it into some form of space soap opera....
When you find that viewers are hoping that the robot kills all of the cast it suggests that the programme makers pitched it wrong....

Why do we need a replacement for a player that was surplus to requirements? Unless Roos goes as well then we have sufficient cover in the goalkeeping department.......

But realistically do we need 3 keepers? Chances of both Allsop and Roos being injured/suspended at the same time are so remote. Marshall has been 3rd keeper all season and hasn't stepped foot on the pitch. Likewise when Roos/Marshall were Nos 1 and 2, we never saw the third keeper play. Weighed up against our financial position and how we can operate in the market, it doesn't make much sense to me.

Budgie singer, bassist and songwriter Burke Shelley has died aged 71....
Won't be a familiar name to many, but a great frontman - Budgie were a tremendous live band and are (along with Motorhead) probably responsible for my less than perfect hearing over the past 40 years. Saw them a number of times including at the Assembly Rooms and (one of the loudest gigs I've ever been to) at the Rockhouse.....
Eerily I heard Breadfan played on the radio at the weekend - a fitting tribute to a proper band....
